Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It's in a bit of a boring place but I suspect most are booking this hotel for functionality rather than tourism. If you do want to go into San Jose City then get the shuttle to the airport and the bus from the airport.
Modern hotel and near the airport. Had a Dennys across from it. Decent shuttle service to and from the airport. Rooms were very comfy and clean. Decent breakfast choices.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was great that you could do laundry. Washer/dryer/soap was $5. The pool and gym were nice. The breakfast was good. There was always coffee out. The have a 24 hr shuttle to the airport. The airport is less than 5 minutes away.

The air conditioning unit was really noisy, too hot to turn off so woke up every half an hour by the noise !!!!

I enjoyed breakfast but was a little disappointed that all of the cutlery and crockery was single use/ disposable. This was badged as eco friendly as it was all apparently compostable...
We needed a hotel close to the airport for our first night. The pool was very welcome, and the restaurant across the road was all we could manage as we were tired, although I understand there is a shuttle bus that goes out to other restaurants in the area. Breakfast was a good buffet selection.

So close to airport and next to our car rental place. Also there is a restaurant next door which was nice after a long day of travel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Nice little gym and pool. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. With many tropical fruit options. They also have a 24 hour airport shuttle.

No issues during our first stay, but encountered significant traffic congestion during our final stay. Not within the hotel's control, but location is a bit of a negative during rush hour.
Close to airport so just a short shuttle to bed after flying in late at night. Clean, well-appointed rooms. Good breakfast (lots of selection, including some gluten free) in the morning. Friendly, helpful staff.

Breakfast could be better and the room view was no view but for one night to pass by is a great hotel
We needed an hotel for one night close to the airport and this hotel met our expectations: 1. Close proximity to the airport. 2. Breakfast included. 3. Free shuttle from and to the hotel. 4. Helpful staff. 5. Small swimming pool to relax after the flight

Nothing! it was perfect. Location was excellent for airline connection, particularly with the HHI shuttle.
The young man that met us at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He looked up my missing IHG # and brought it to my room when he found it. The hotel had a nice pool and comfortable and clean room.

To loud guests in the adjacent room.
Location and breakfast to go as we had to leave early morning. Very friendly Reception staff We arrived late so we did not have time to explore the surroundings. Shuttle service was excellent and efficient.

The woman that checked us in seemed to just barely tolerate us. I think perhaps because we did not speak Spanish.

Staff were functional rather than proactive. Less friendly than our previous visit. Check-in was dull with the feeling that the staff were going through the motions, with exception of the man at breakfast. Not the hotel's fault but the 3 minute transfer became 30 minutes because of rush hour and roadworks outside the airport.
