Breakfast could be more plentiful. It wasn't a problem for us, but soap and shampoo were missing.

Beautiful garden with birds and other wild animals. Nice pool and terrace.

We saw 2 cockroaches in the kitchen, a few centipedes on the bedroom wall. The sheets were not clean, the towel had yellow stains.

The surroundings were very pretty, and so was the garden around the lodges. The owner was very friendly, she gave us a bigger room as it was vacant.

I chose the hotel because description said there was a restaurant at the property. I didn’t want to drive anywhere in the evening. However, only breakfast is provided.

Loved the beautiful jungle setting. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Very nice breakfast and great coffee. Lovely waterfall a short hike from the property where you can jump into the water.

Our rolling luggage couldn’t roll on gravel. Hard to locate. The waterfall was far from the property, no parking nearby and was a river.

Staff could have been more friendly and attentive. I know one couple was left waiting for hours before there was anyone around to check them in.

Hot shower wasn't hot.

Rooms were very cool even though there was no AC - wasn't needed. Beautiful grounds, nice pool, good breakfast. Owner was very helpful and informative.

The bed was uncomfortable, some of the lights didn't work, we found a cockroach in the closet, we didn't have hot water (they tried to fix it but never worked), and very bad wifi reception inside the cabin.

It is very pretty and Helene is really nice. Breakfast is good.

The place is catching up for being closed during pandemic and is with being work to put it at 100%

Excellent location, close to Manuel Antonio, Dominical, Playa Matapalo and Playa Linda that are great. The rooms are inserted in the jungle, full o vegetation and birds. Nice pool and common space. Breakfast was very good.

It's currently in a state of post-pandemic reopening flux, with an only semi-functional pool and restaurant. The lack of AC naturally renders the rooms quite hot.

If (like me) you enthusiastically embrace the quirky, the off-the-beaten-path, and the funky, this is the place for you. It's remote, beautiful, beset by an air of benign decay, and populated by a cast of unusual characters. Rooms are ruggedly gorgeous. The unlimited hot water is fabulous. Breakfast is small-portioned but delicious.

The Restaurant was closed except for the breakfast, which was ok if you have a car but a bit unconvenient as we we're travelling with Kids and Sometimes a quick snack would have been nice

We really enjoyed our stay Here. The Bungalow was nice, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. I Loved the Gardens and the Pool. You really are in nature there. We saw toucans, toucanettes, iguanas and blue morphos. The breakfast was good. The Location is great if you have a Car. We could visit uvita, dominical, Manuel Antonio and beautiful waterfalls while we were there.

No A.C. Now proper windows- just bars in it, so if you do not have earplugs, you will not sleep really late- cicadas is so loud there.

Beautiful location in big garden where is pool with bar and small houses around. You can even walk from there to jungle. Waterfall is nearby. Owner is friendly and helpfull. Awesome breakfast - quite a shame that the lady who served them was super grumpy.

There is only a ceiling fan that only works with the light on so not very helpful at night. It really helps that the nets are well done so you can open the window shutters, but it cools down a bit quite late at night. It may be a result of long covid closure but despite the reek of repellent in the evening the room was crawling with small centipedes. They did stick to the floor or walls but when some reached the ceiling they fell into the bed as well.

The property is located in beautiful gardens. It is a bit out of the way, we take that as a good thing and if you have a car you can get to a few of the most charming beaches under 10 minutes. The cottages are well built, laid out and designed. The breakfast was nice but we would not call it fantastic (as a main benefit mentioned in the property description).

Our room was deep in the mountain and we loved the sounds of nature around us, It was hot but we had an additional fan which worked perfectly. We were celebrating our anniversary and the owner decorated the room for us, it was really nice.

Helen, the owner, was friendly, however, had a bit of a problem with drinking. The pool chairs were missing a lot of cushions.

The lodge is located in a very nice natural garden. A good place to reach Dominical, Uvita, Manuel Antonio NP.

To begin with the property is a piece of paradise. The owner and her staff made my 5 day stay an exceptional experience. Plus a very tasty breakfast was included each morning. I’ll certainly be back Thanks LaPalapa
