It is a little hard to find the driveway, but no problem is you are closely watching the map

We loved this place. The pool area is surrounded by beautiful plants and is very clean. The property is hidden from the road by a long driveway, so it is very quiet. The AC and appliances worked well. There is a supermarket out front which made shopping very convenient.

We liked everything!

Very roomy and clean apartment! Very friendly and helpful staff. Staff was always working and cleaning around the property (not in a noisy way! ) and available for any concerns. Towels were new and fluffy, and pool towels were provided. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances worked well. Grocery store within walking distance with everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, comfortable and quiet! Pool is beautiful with a warerfall and lots of pretty plants all around the property. Supermarket is right next door. Freddy will help you with whatever you need.

Very nice welcome from Frederick, the host & owner. Easy car parking in shade. Apartment / room was large, with kitchenette, which was useful. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Easy to locate on the road into Playa Flamingo.

Nothing to dislike.

Spacious accommodation with lounge, well equipped kitchen and comfortable balcony to sit out on overlooking the pool. Frederick and Nancy were brilliant and friendly hosts. Nancy even used her superb sewing skills to fix a hole in our hire car seat….above and beyond expected service. Well stocked supermarket next door to property. Walking distance to 3 restaurants on the beach (great for sunsets) and a short drive to Flamingo and Conchal (the best) beach. This was our 6th accommodation during our 3 week trip around Costa Rica and was one of our favourites. Recommend without hesitation.

With a beautiful pool and a comfortable apartment space, I highly recommend Massai! You feel like you're in the nature -- even though comforts are at hand. Massai is a great space for a short time a Playa Flamingo. You can walk 20 minutes+ to the beach and you're near a supermarket and restaurants.

Quiet in the jungle yet close to a store and restaurants. Liked having a pool to cool off and relax and read. Staff were great. Frederick was friendly helpful and spoke excellent English.

Nice apartments well equipped for cooking, with AC, smart TV and two nice rooms. Each has a small patio with a table and chairs where we could hang out and meet the neighbors. The staff was extremely friendly and available.

- we had so many ants, flys and cockroaches even tough we left the windows closed and cleaned away food immediatly - the wifi was not working well at all - the furniture is quite old and dark

- the apartment had a great size with a seperate kitchen and bedroom - loved the pool - there is a big road closeby but you could not hear it

The appartment was very spacious and clean, nice view on the nature, there's a big supermarket right next to the appartment which is so convenient and the bus stop is set also super nearby

The place is somewhat dated but kept extremely clean.

The apartment was very neat and clean. Lots of natural light with a wrap around balcony and great kitchen accessories. The African artwork is a nice colorful touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is conveniently in between Playa Flamingo and Portrero.

You definitely need a car if you want to enjoy a beach.

Very beautiful hotel! It is a great option for a long stay (the kitchen is fully equipped and has everything, coffee, oil, salt, to enjoy a breakfast yourself) and also the hotel is perfect for working. There is a supermarket right at the corner, very convenient.
