Deferred maintenance Room was pretty basic. Lightning could be improved

The room was not very big, although very efficiently accommodated.

I liked how the "convent" was transformed into al comfortable hotel with respect for the former accents.

Needed a bit of maintenance (door didn’t close properly, bedside light wasn’t working, etc. )

Staff was super friendly and helpful; hotel was historic and interesting; courtyard was nice place to hang out; convenient location, walking distance to city center; breakfast fine, and onsite restaurant Oliva was quite good. Great a/c, very comfortable bed, very clean. We really enjoyed our stay!!

A fan in the bathroom would help reduce the humidity and there was no hairdryer in the room.

The location was very good, about a 10 min walk to the Petermaai district where there are many bars and restaurants. The room was small but it opened to the courtyard where ample seating is available. Breakfast was very nice, good quality and variety. The Sunday BBQ was delicious. The staff was very friendly.

The bed was actually two single beds put together instead of a double bed.

Charming building with cozy internal garden, where they serve a very good breakfast. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great, close to the city centre and with easy access to the roads that bring you to the beaches. The room that we stayed in was big, with comfortable bathroom.

Deluxe Room size was perfect, but need to improve the mattress is too soft, and bathroom is open could use a box to protect the shower. The balcony is good but wall makes it hard to use cause there is no wind turning it into an oven hehe.

The bathroom had a faulty smell at first..it kind of went away later on. It also had hair and other dust in the corners of the bathroom.

We really liked the room, it was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was most friendly and kind. We loved the little pool, it was perfect for our little son and the garden gave a fresh feeling when outside.

The tapas at the restaurant Olive are highly recommended! It's unfortunate my stay was short but it was lovely and the food was so good!

The room was a bit stuffy mainly during the day, but if you like air conditioning, then no problem.

The building and cute details in decoration, the location, good service from the staff (postcard and beers at the room as a welcome), good wifi. Breakfast was good.

No privacy at all at the pool, it’s more of a dip pool so gets crowded quickly. poor lighting in the bathrooms Bed was not comfortable in room 20 practically no english channels on the Tvs

Every night, there was always a random loud noise to interrupt my sleep. I am not a light sleeper so the fact I heard these sounds is a big deal. I never figured out if it was the AC, the toilet, or a near by building, but that is the main thing that prevented the hotel from getting a perfect score. I wish there were more beach options within walking distance.

You could not ask for a better location. It was walking distance to so many restaurants and many must see areas of the island like Punda and the historic bridge you see in so many photos. I felt very comfortable walking at night from dinner back to my room. There was always someone at the front to greet me and check in about my stay so far. Front desk staff also were very helpful with ordering a taxi or offering recommendations. The water was always the perfect temperature every time i showered.

our checkin was excellent and altough room wasn't ready the suitcases where taken into their care. We got cear instructions how to get to places from front staff ,the security gurard was reallly helpful as we where leaving really early he even put on coffee for us .

The couch in my room was odd and uncomfortable, and the table lamps weren’t the correct voltage to work.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They will do everything in their power to make your stay an awesome one.

There were few points which made the stay a bit disappointing: a chair in the room was broken, the air conditioning did not work properly at the beginning and there was no shampoo and shower gel.

The staff were very friendly, forthcoming and helpful. The room was clean, the breakfast good and the location is in walking distance to the city centre.

The bed was absolutely terrible. probably the worst bed i have ever slept on. Rock solid and squeaked every time we moved. the pillows were flat squares that served absolutely no purpose. The room itself was extremely tiny with no natural light coming in as the only windows faced the inside courtyard. the bathroom had a vent coming from the outside shower (dirty & did not use) which brought it very hot air into the bathroom.

beautiful architecture! history behind the building is very interesting. The staff are all very sweet and accommodating!
