Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineI definitely recommend! Nice rooms, everyday cleaning and a chic pool surrendered with palm trees. And it is quiet. You'll still have to walk 20-30 min to beach, that's true.

United KingdomThis apartment is amazing for 3 people not for 4 the sofa bed needs to be replaced, it is not suitable for long-term sleeping. The kitchen is missing a few items like toaster and new cooking equipment
very close to the city center, great staff and good communication. A clean, well-kept room with a bedroom with daily cleaning service.

RomaniaThe bathroom has no soap for hands, no shower gel or any other product to wash. The air conditioner is locked, you have to pay extra for this service - we didn't need it because in October is OK. The towels were changed just a day before we left, we handled them anyway. :) The TV has no music channels, only a bloody Turkish radio station :) so you didn't use it at all. Also the TV has an European energy plug, so it requires an socket adapter - we had one from the reception, but we use it for other stuffs like charging mobile phones, photo camera. The size of the room was OK for us, but it has big furniture (big armchairs, long table) witch is difficult to move in the room.
Good location, the complex is situated in a quiet area, the cars do not pass often. We arrived late in the night and they have 24h reception, no problem for late check out. The pool is nice to cool off after a full day at the beach. Our room has a small garden in front, which was also nice to stay in the evening. The kitchen has good quality instruments, the knife for cooking was missing, so we had to buy one. Also, we had to buy a sponge, salt and so on, nothing remains after other guests. The kitchen has an electric oven, which is great for cooking. The girls from the reception were nice to present us the complex (pool, breakfast possibility) and helped us to store the luggage after check out. Also, from the reception you can have an electric adapter for European energy socket, it costs 2 euros, after returning you can have 1 euro back. :)

SlovakiaVery bad towels, however we provided the info to the mng and I trust they will improve.
Very good value for money, newly furbished rooms, with very ok beds and blind curtains. Includes small fridge and a balcony. We spent time in octobre which is presumably best month, very nice and warm weather, restaurants with no reservations. The hotel was quiet and far enough from the part bars. Walkable to the main strip in 10mns.

BulgariaThere was no dryer on the terrace. The breakfast can be varied with a little more fruits, desserts, croissants and pies.
The staff is kind and courteous. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the main stations for Nicosia, Larnaca, Nissi Beach and Protaras. It is close to the center, the monastery and the nightlife street. The breakfast was delicious. The lighting in the room was quite good.

SerbiaWe didn’t have any kind of soap in the bathroom, which was pretty annoying after traveling the whole day, and the reception was already closed at that point as we arrived late. Breakfast was very average, not many choices.
Close to everything, check out at 12, allowed us a late check in, staff was very nice. The place was pretty quiet and we got a good night of sleep.

SerbiaThey don't have a hair dryer in the room, you have to get it at the reception, and sometimes people don't return it right after they are finished, so you end up waiting for the hair dryer.
Everything was good. Location is great, very close to night life events and the beaches. They clean the room every day. Good experience.

The apartment was large, well equiped, also in the kitchen we found everything we needed, the balcony was spacious. We stayed in block 3. The staff was very helpfull and nice.

CyprusThere wasn't a container to put toothbrushes. There wasn't a shower shelf to put shower gel etc. I'm wondering why so simple things are not taken into consideration by the hotel owners... Where the guest is suppose to put shampoo and shower gel??!
Good location. Very clean.

United KingdomA tiny thing of an issue was the blocked shower but by the moment we mentioned it to them someone came to fix it within 10’ as we are about to pop out. The water from the quick shower couldn’t go through the blocked drain but it was all fixed and cleaned by the moment we came back.
The staff at Pavlinia were really lovely and attentive during our stay. The flats in the newly renovated section are spacious, bright, and confortable. We were very thankful for that change of rooms and this would surely be worth your money. We also used one of the pools were it was nice and chilled. Since we had a car, it was very easy for us to move around Ayia Napa or go to Protaras (which is only 15’ away). The flats are not affected by the noise of the Ay Napa night life as they are 2-3 streets in so it felt close enough to go out but far enough to be quiet.

There was a bit of noise (the double-glazed windows and the door did not close properly and there was more noise than it should have been, but at a tolerable level, but it is the same throughout the entire Ayia Napa. .
The accommodation was very good. The staff was very kind, the apartments extremely spacious. It was cleaned every day. Very clean pools. I tottaly recommend it.

Ukraine- you can't book pool view room via web site - you have to call! - expect that some rooms look a tid different from photos here. Look mine for example.
You will definitely love the pool, smooth relaxing music and impeccable daily cleaning. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Furniture is not new but good. You can expect nicely stuffed kitchenette with a stove and an oven. Location is close to bar street but far enough from its noise. You have 3 close by beaches within 25 min walk. Nissi is a bit farther away. Best rooms oversee the pool so ask specifically for it. Some face between hotels or the road. They are noisier. Definitely recommend for a long stay with your partner or family whether you plan to cook in house or taste local cuisine in restaurants.
