How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Apartments had it's own small terrace. Accomodation was comfortable and the host was very hospitable. Located in quiet place.

A little dated but i feel that has been reflected in the booking price
We stayed just for 2 nights as a stop over mid travels and loved that we could wash, dry and iron everything ready for our onward travels. All the facilities needed for a studio flat and within short walking distance of the beach and local shops.

Quiet neighborhood, near both the Highway and the beach. Very clean. Owner very friendly and helpful! Will definitely consider the apartment for our next stay in Limassol.

No such thing!
Everything. The aparment was clean and spacious, the bathroom was great and well equipped, the beach was only 7 mins away and had a blue flag, on most days there were very few people (because of the pandemic of course). The apartment had a terrace so we could have meals in the open air. It was beautiful. There are two big supermarkets within walking distance (Lidl and Metro where you can buy everything you need). Buses 30 or 30a can take you to the city center. A special big thank you to our most welcoming hosts Costas and Nicos who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We'd love to come back!!

Very small things that I would note - these didn’t spoil the experience at all! 1) there was no water pressure in the faucets and bathtub/shower 2) the mattress in the bedroom was quite hard 3) the ac in the bedroom made it slightly cool (still much better than the unbearable Cypriot summer heat!) but not as cool as I would’ve liked - this might be on me though I was not really able to work the remote other than to turn it off and on. As I said these are tiny issues that one barely notices if at all! Overall the experience was very good!
1)Property is at a very convenient location - safe neighbourhood, very close to the tourist area, as well as being near the highway for easy travel. 2)Kostas is a very helpful and accommodating host and made everything easier! 3)I visited the place looking for a quiet place to study and work for a few days, and this property was a great find! Very quiet and peaceful throughout the day. 4)Has most basic amenities one would expect. 5)Even though I gave Kostas a little over an hour’s notice before coming (I made a last minute booking) the house was adequately clean! The experience was good enough that I even extended my stay here!

Everything was perfect... We were very happy and satisfied with the place.
I like the cleanliness. Is the most important for us. I will visit the place again.. :) I also like that we found Cypriot coffee available.. this was amazing.. and suprise.

It was freezing cold not geared up for the winter. The air conditioning unit didn't heat the bedroom up as we were told it would and there was no heating elsewhere so in the kitchen lounge area we put the hob and oven on to stay warm. Our clothes were damp where it was cold and on returning home all needed washing as they smell damp. The bed was damp every night we got in it which made us feel cold. Couldn't dry the towels so with a 5 night stay we had wet towels continously, unable to dry them anywhere. Then to top it all we wanted a shower before we left for the airport at 3am, heated it up as instructed by the owner and the water was freezing so couldn't shower, not happy at all.
Peaceful area convenient for what we needed

dirty bathroom and kitchen (flors and dirty plates/cups), partially blocked sewers in the bathroom.
large rooms in a quite place, nice owner, brought me washing powder to wash clothes and some adapters for the chargers. 10 min from the beach.

The flat has used older equipment and limited basic kitchen equipment. But if you plan to use the kitchen for breakfasts only, it is ok.
We liked the flat location, it is very close to the highway and the main beach road ( we had rented car during all our stay). Shops are on a walking distance and the apartment is in the very nice, clean and silent area. The house owner Costas is perfect, always willing to help and solve any problem promptly.

Nearby nothing to do. Very tiny beach, no local taverns. Dirty oven in the room, sinks need to be repair. A lot lot people from Russia.
Near SM LIDL. We found international market Gourmet too. But prices were awesome.
