Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bed is quite firm, some of the chairs in the dining area are rickety and the elevator was not working while I was there.
Staff was very helpful, location was close to a bus stop with easy access to tourist sites. Breakfast selection was extensive and good, eggs, sausages, cheeses, breads. Pastry, yogurt, cereal, etc. since it was a monastery, there are extensive grounds, also a really good brewery and restaurant (reservations needed) on the monastery grounds.

Historical building that matched the splendour of Prague. On the 22 tram stop, which gave a direct connection to most places or interest with a very scenic journey there and back. Staff were most friendly. The monastery has a brewery attached and very nice pub. The beer is like a bitter Pilzen and I prefer the more sweet Budvar but tasty all the same.

The accommodation is amazing. The value for money is totally worth it. The rooms are large and comfortable, the breakfast divine and the craft beer not to mention it! Totally recommended, with my eyes closed.

Czech Republic1. Electric plugs are not near the beds 2. No kettle in room 3. Some days cleaning started very early in the halls and the team would attempt to clean rooms early as well (8am at one point..) 4. More vacuuming needed in rooms. And once despite asking for a room clean, the sheets and bedding were not changed. 5. Did not always feel welcome but that depended on the hotel reception on rotation (some were very nice) 6. A bit far from center but still very accessible by tram But these are all minor points, on the whole I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.
It’s a beautiful building and monastery grounds for walking - it’s worth staying just for this. The grounds has a brewery and a popular restaurant with Prague residents. It’s very quiet. Brevnov neighbourhood is very close walking distance. The tram also stops right outside the monastery. Private and spacious parking was a real bonus. The majority of hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very well equipped and clean on arrival. Breakfast was good. Coffee tea always available near reception. Pet friendly!

GermanyImpressive location in a former monastery, really quiet and peaceful, but still very close to the tram line. Very friendly and accomodating employees, delicious breakfast, free parking on the premises. The history and location are so impressive, we felt like we were in a novel! Oh, and they had little Christmas chocolates on the pillows, such a nice gesture!

LithuaniaIf you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs because the bell of Brevnosky klaster (church) tolls every hour, even though not so loud. The bed was too hard, but the staff is very helpful and they gave another cover.
The room was really cosy and clean. The very atmosphere of a hotel being in former monastery premises is quite unique. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was really pleasant.🙂

PolandVery conveniently located, with a free car park. The 22 tramstop is a stone's throw from the hotel. Sufficient breakfast, free tea and coffee all day long. The restaurant (delicious food), pub (local beer!) and church (Xmas time) are so close that you can walk from the hotel wearing slippers :)). If I ever come to Prague again, there's no doubt I will check room availability at Adalbert first.

United States of AmericaWe didn’t mind being away from the center of the main sites and the tram was fine for us to “commute” in. If location is your main priority, this place is a bit removed.
Beautiful former monastery with interesting and varied rooms. Some distance from Old Town and the main square but easily reached via the tram that stops in front of the hotel. Clean and comfortable with a very nice staff. Breakfast was delicious serving cereals, eggs, sausages, cold cuts, fruits, and breads.

United States of AmericaGrout between the tiles in the bathroom needed deep cleaning. No one helped with carrying luggage.
Great location, beautiful, historical, with green park-like setting all around. Delicious restaurant. Staff helped me by packing a breakfast for me when I had to leave at 6:00am. Michelle helped me by storing my luggage before check-in time and by arranging a taxi for me for an early morning departure to the airport.

PolandEverything was ok. Unfortunately, an amusement park came to the park near the hotel for the weekend. It was noisy and a lot of shouting drunk people. The second thing to pay attention to, if there are a lot of guests in the hotel, it is worth coming early for breakfast. They quickly run out of hot dishes and unfortunately do not bring more.
Nice historic hotel, friendly and professional staff. Good price. Clean. Nice location, good transportation to the city (streetcar). Local brewery (although service could be nicer) and local restaurant. Free WiFi but a little bit slow.
