Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe location is great, 20 mins or so from the main train station. The room and the bathroom were clean. In the room a kettle was provided with some tea and coffee; in the bathroom - clean towels and soaps. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

ChinaHowever, the bathroom is disappointment, as the shower head/rack is kinda not completely functional. Also the bathroom window light is not working either. Only soap is provided, and there is no shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste. My room is closed to the main street, it could be quite noisy if you leave the door open when you sleep. Not even mention about the daytime as the busy traffic.
I like the room because it is bigger than I expected, especially since the building is old-style and has a high ceiling. And room is clean, offering teabags and instant coffee but no water. The location is great as it's close to a convenient store, tram and cafe.

United KingdomIt’s in a great location close to IPPavlova Metro and tram stations. It’s also very close to the bus stop for the night bus back to the airport which was very useful at 3 am.! It’s also a five minute walk to the National Museum at the top ofWenceslas Square, so very easy to get around . Clean and comfortable.

United KingdomA bit of noise from the other guests on our floor. Our room was quite high up and therefore we didn't hear too much noise from the street, however there were some drunk guests making a bit of noise at night, slamming doors which was a bit of a disturbance. Of course this isn't the hotel's fault - just other guests being inconsiderate and the sound carries a bit. I was aware from reading other reviews that the reception is only open 8am-4pm Monday to Friday - this wasn't a big deal for us as we checked out on a Monday, but if we were checking out on a weekend day it may have been a bit problematic, as we wouldn't have had anywhere to store bags. I believe there are some options at a nearby station or other places, which may require cash.
The location was really good, near the I. P. Pavlova metro station and very near to the National Museum and the State Opera, and Wenceslas Square. Public transport in Prague is really good and well connected, so no issues there. Staff were very nice and polite; they were able to store our bags in the reception after we checked out, up until 4pm. Our room was nice and spacious enough for two people, with a clean ensuite bathroom. Mini fridge also provided which was useful.

AustriaUnfortunately, the fire alarm was malfunctioning in my room, while I was sleeping it suddenly went off at 7am and later again at 9am, after which the staff knocked on my door and questioned whether I smoked or did something else that caused the alarm to go off (I was sound asleep when it went off). Also, it was really difficult to set the temperature of the water in the shower, which caused me a lot of annoyance, suddenly turned extremely hot or cold sometimes, even though I didn't turn it. I communicated these issues to the staff on spot and I hope they'll be able to fix them, because the price of the room wasn't the lowest (145 euros for 2 nights).
My room was clean, the location of the building is great, relatively close to the train station and only a 4-minute walk from the metro station 'IP Pavlova', where also several trams stop. My bed was very comfortable as well.

NetherlandsI want to be fair, any 'issues' I had during my stay in Prague had nothing to do with Březina. In fact, being able to come back to my room and recover was brilliant. My next trip I'm definitely looking at staying again.
Availability, I planned my trip on Monday and was able to check in on Tuesday. The location is fantastic, right across from the elevator to the metro station of IP Pavlova, two stops (2 minutes) from Hlavní Nádraží, with metros running every few minutes. The elevator is perfect as a solo traveller, I imagine it might be cramped if you try to fit in more people. But I am a big guy, so perspectives and all that. In any case, the elevator saves you walking up a bunch of stairs. The Legenda Bar is next door, recommended. Value for money was - with the closeness of Prague's Old City in mind - outright amazing.
