We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsThe breakfast buffet was too limited and the quality below expectations. Selection was limited. Scrambled eggs tasted okay but were sloppy slushy and unpleasant in appearance.
Hotel Cvilin presents the image of being a top hotel coupled with a top restaurant. For many aspects, this is correct. However this image is let down by small mistakes and slightly insufficiently trained staff. The staff service level and friendliness is excellent however the staff in the Restaurant seems to be overworked and, due to this, they make small mistakes. We will definitely stay at Hotel Cvilin again when ever we are in the Krnov area.

Czech RepublicThe breakfast was a bit sad maybe because there were not many guests at the hotel but they could’ve done better. Other than that everything was pretty much awesome.
The rooms are equipped with extremely comfortable beds and beautiful interior, The sauna and we are pool were awesome the whole area was booked just for us for two hours and we enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is incredible.

Czech RepublicBringing a guest all the way from South Africa to give a more upscale experience, I must say I was a little disappointed. The Hotel contacted me to warn me about possible noise to a wedding which was no problem, however we were not notified that service would lack. Staff were too busy, we had to ask where to eat, sit, no info about spa services or anything, etc (no induction given at all). Also only tea in the room and no coffee was available in the room. I would have preferred if they asked me to re-book elsewhere as we really felt like we were just in the way. We were hoping to enjoy a nice day on Saturday with the views and relaxation, instead we landed up leaving the Hotel for the entire day as it was so busy with the wedding. The Room was great but bathroom shower glass grooves could use some cleaning. Bed was also a bit too soft, however the linens were comfortable.
This was a great venue, very well located and most amazing views. The room we had was really huge and spacious and loved the door opening up into the garden. Bed Linen was great (bed itself a bit too soft for me). We searched google for local taxi which was great in getting around.

Czech RepublicThere was a very loud wedding taking place on the first day of our stay, going on till the early morning hours. We had been promised to get a room where we wouldn´t feel disturbed, which unfortunately wasn´t the case: the wedding got completely out of control with music being played to the top of the volume, which was heard all around the hotel, no matter how far we were from the dining room.... Moreover, there was no one at the reception to take care of the matter - a true nighmare! At 3 o´clock my husband was advised by the waitresses (the only staff he could find!) to talk to the wedding guests himself and convince them to behave with some consideration for the other guests. You might imagine their response as they felt they had every right to have all the fun... To cut the long story short, it was only after the intervention of the town police contacting the owner of the hotel that the noise stopped at 4 o´clock... Yet, that wasn´t all.....The next day we met with the manager of the hotel, a very rude young lady, telling us that that was a ´normal thing´ in situations of private celebrations and that we should show some understanding....Well, we do have understanding but obviously there is a limit...and there is a compromise...but if the hotel decides to have other guests during private celebrations, I would at least expect someone competent to be at the hotel at the time. The manager definitely wasn´t ready to take any blame for the absolute mismanagement of the incident and her offer not to charge us for the one night was done in such an arrogant way that it felt as a joke rather than as a sincere attempt to provide some compensation. It was our third stay at this hotel and it left a truly bad taste in the mouth...so there won´t be the fourth. The unprofessional management promising impossible and then treating hotel guests with total disrespect and instead putting them down is too much. There are other places in the area where to stay....
