When checked out about 6 am the gentleman on the desk was RUDE. I asked for a wake up call. Didn’t get wake up call. He told “not working.” There was two other male hotel employees. I aske gentleman on the desk “why didn’t you send someone to my room then?” He replied “don’t do that.” In a very rude way. Then he totally ignored me.

The ladies @ front desk were great. Overall, very nice hotel. Close to train station. Walking distance to all sights.

The weather was cold and snowy when we were there. The streets did not seem ever to be cleared which caused impacted ice. In particular the hotel steps were icy and I slipped on them and hurt and bruised my knee.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was always warm when we returned from a day out in the snow. Quiet comfortable lounge where you could have a drink or coffee

When we wanted to stay for one night more the receptionist (woman) said there is not free rooms. But we stayed after booking the room via Booking.com at that moment.

One staff member on reception in the evening was quite rude and dismissive to me when I asked for some information. The only thing that let the hotel down.

It’s dated. Old glory can be seen everywhere. But it can use some updates. Breakfast is convenient but the selection is so so. What was there was good quality, but not great.

It’s conveniently located a block from train station and 2 blocks from central location in the city. Very close to new town and old town. 20 min walking from Karlov bridge. Comfortable bed.

Coffee at breakfast is awful, like something that would be used to clean drains, I asked for a Cappuccino and my colleague a Latte and we were told we would have to be charged for these, while that is ok and I have no problems paying for something that drinkable, what annoyed me is having paid for breakfast and the Coffee that was available at breakfast was just Awful, the option is Drink it or pay up for decent coffee. ( the hotel seems to be skimping on quality, using cheap produce for example the orange juice, apple juice etc. In the rooms there is a Nespresso machine but there is an element of meanness with 2 pods ( so 1 pod person per day ) Oh no milk either...... the toiletries were scare, for example 2 bottles of Hair Shampoo over the 3 days, and These were not replenished daily, NO Shower gel available. also the Air con was poor ( control panel was locked ) so it took hours for the room to cool. Also as a suggestion 2 chairs and a small table would be welcome on the balcony lovely hotel but an element of been mean about silly items that would expect in a hotel

The Hotel was very nice, great location and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, There was always a welcome at reception when you passed, hotel room was fabulous, huge and classy
