Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIt is quite hard to park in this area, but that is definitely not the hotel's fault. Floor was quite squeaky, but the building is quite old, so it is understandable.
Nicely located hotel in the center of Prague. We arrived late, but it was not a problem at all, because we were able to do check-in online and we were provided with all the necessary information. Very good breakfast, clean room, friendly staff.

United States of AmericaIf you are a person with mobility challenges,, this would be a very difficult place to stay. It is not accessible from the street. You have to go up a small flight of stairs to get to the front door The front door is heavy and after you open it, you have to go up a longer flight of carpeted stairs to get to the front lobby located in the dining room. To get to the elevator, you have to go up yet another flight of stairs. The elevator is between flights of stairs, and not on an actual floor, so you have to drag your luggage upstairs no matter what floor you’re on. There are no grab bars located in the bathroom by the toilet or shower, so if you’re not sure on your feet, I don’t recommend it.
Good stay at affordable price, near public transit. Although the location is a little bit farther from the main sights of Prague, public transit is very convenient. There is a rental scooter parking lot just across the street and this made it easy for me to use a scooter at any time. My room was small, even for a solo traveler, but I enjoyed the convenience of having a coffee maker in my room and a selection of teas. The bathroom was one of the highlights of my stay there. It is very beautifully tiled. I had heard reports of bedbug problems in Prague, but my room was clean and the bedding and towels were fresh. There were blackout curtains for a small window. Breakfast had options for me as a vegetarian and the dining hall where breakfast served is cheerful and welcoming.

United KingdomThe advantage of having tram stop right outside does mean some rooms can be noisy. Small thing, but should add some type of breakfast/black tea for breakfast. Numerous fruit ones.

PhilippinesStairs to go up to the reception from street level. Elevator is only between floors. Stairs from the lobby to the elevator. Go up to the 4th floor to go to rooms on the 4th and 5th floor.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location can't be beat. Breakfast was good and free flow of beverages available throughout the day and night. Room was very warm.

DenmarkThere is nothing that I think of, which they should improve. It is my third stay there…
The location is great, both because there is a tram stop next to it with airport connections, and because it is in the quiet part of the city center - and I had meetings close by

ItalyThe only thing I didn't like was that the cleaning ladies and receptionist was having breakfast in the same room. Like when I checked in, the receptionist was eating, I think of course they can have breakfast but maybe in the back office?
Location was really good, you could reach the old Town in 15 min walking. I chose this hotel because of the breakfast and it was delicious!! Amazing, I would come here 100%. Staff was nice and helpful. I would like to say thank you so much Carlo from the breakfast, you are such a nice person! I loved talking to you in the mornings and very helpful as the receptionist.

HungaryThe hotel was in a good location, very close to Charles Bridge. There is also a big parking lot near the hotel, although it's not free, it's not that expensive either. The rooms are clean and nice, but a little small. The breakfast was fantastic, there was a huge variation of hot and cold meals, fruits and vegetables. The staff was quite friendly.
