Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was nice but could have offered a bit more (e.g. eggs were not replenished). Check-in was a bit complicated (had to check in at the bar next door and the staff there were a bit confused). But good overall - would stay again.
Clean room with comfortable bed. Main staff were friendly and helpful. Storage for bikes. Good coffee at breakfast. Value for money.

the shower needs replacement of silicone for seams for better hygiene
we liked a lot clean and convenient facilities, simple but decent breakfast, and a nice pub with tasty food and beer for dinner.

Nobody opened the door or answered the phone when I arrived late even though I informed host what time I will be.went to near pub asking for help and they said they actually responsible for my stay , sorting me out.nobody mentioned to look for a help in local pub? Stressful, was very cold, dark nowhere to ask for help.

Breakfast sweet table could be a bit larger.
Breakfast is a Swedish table of scrambled eggs, cereals, sausages and some yoghurts, fruits. Rooms are very spacious and beds are great. Parking is available right at the door.

Beedsheets and towels a bit past their dates
We had a wonderful stay , although a bit dated on decor and the bed sheets and towels Could be replaced because they are way past their dates . We book a 2 room apartament with 5 beds and an extra bed paid at €17 , it was on the first floor , nice and cool inside with air con on ( outside were 38 degrees so it was a nice touch to find the room chilled ) , big toilet with shower , tv , small fridge , table and chairs . In the common landing there is a microwave , hot water facility and cups for coffee /tea. In the garden plenty of secure parking and also added bonus of a great pub with lovely welcoming people that served us the best pizza we had in a looong time , big succulent burgers and cold beers on tap !!! Great stay and a bargain ! Def recommend if you are passing by ! There is a Tesco convenience store in walking distance and quick exit to motorway

no kettle in the room, but avaliable on the corridor for all room users. small breakfast variety for this price
spacious rooms, comfortable beds, on the backyard location which guaranteed no street noice. next to the hotel- a pizza pub for late arrivers easy accessible from/to highway.

There was problem with ventilation in the bathroom. It smelled bad. They should be able to fix it easily but we stayed one night so didn't see if they did it

After 20years of using Booking.com I found the worst place ever! The room smelled extreme like excrements .When I claimed this at reception I got some Spray immediately...but no way to change the room. This is no Hotel but some pigsty! Avoid this place.

The smell in the room an bathroom was not tolerable. Something must be wrong with the plumbing and or ventilation. Showers could be bigger. Ceilings are low, and due to most of the rooms are on the top floor it's getting very hot during summer sunny days.
Good location - close to to the route towards Austria. Big parking. Pub is open till 11pm.
