Just small things. The shower was quite hard to operate as the head holder was down at the bath level. The front door system to the hotel was also not the easiest to use as you needed to call a phone number for it to automatically open.

Lovely staff who went the extra mile. The hotel is a beautiful old building situated just off the main square. The breakfast was exceptional with a good range of fruits and cooked eggs to order.

The host was extremely accommodating and helpful, even parking his own car in a parking space to save it for us. The location is actually right on top of the old city wall with a beautiful patio that looks out for the wall. The breakfast was amazing! Beautiful variety of breads, meats and cheeses, eggs, and sausages, fruit and granolas with a variety of juices and coffee drinks.

The only thing was the TV. I just wish hoteliers would sort out which channels they recrive/subscribe.

The owner Jan is friendly and very, very helpful. Think of a cross between genuine helpfulness and Basil Fawlty helpfulness. A very interesting entry system as the reception desk is not always manned. Our room was a great size, comfortable on the whole. The bed was large enough and was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. A well stocked mini-bar if you wish a bedroom tipple or to store your own bits and bobs. There is a lift. It's a lovely building and the wall on the terrace is part of the old city walls. Breakfast is fine, especially the ripe watermelon. Eggs can be cooked to order too. The five-minute eggs on the buffet are excellent. You can fill your boots.

Searching for the parking facilities is a bit time consuming, but after having a bit sightseing around the hotel, parking place can be found. It is about first experience. Next time I´ll know where to park.

Quiet location very close to the city centre, very friendly staff and nice room, what more to wish? The breakfast was excellent with wide bufee and fresh bakery.

Bed was very firm, but not too uncomfortable. There was a noisy bar/nightclub across the street but luckily the windows in the hotel are quite sound proof and made it manageable.

The door acsess system is clever but easy to use only after you use it once. Some info could be communicated in advance for avoiding stress.

BEST location!! Especially during Christmas festivities due to the Christmas Market on the main square 30 m away and the many eating/drinking offer in the area. Warm quiet room, old furniture and style but very clean. Good breakfast.

Loved everything about this place.

I am so impressed at how the Rous family have restored this 800 year old property into a beautiful boutique hotel. Exceptional breakfast, with made to order eggs and coffees. Friendly, helpful staff. Be sure to get your orientation on the front door system, which you open with your phone. Perfect location.

The staff are really nice and try to accommodate any requests you have. The hotel location is perfect. The rooms are spotless and clean. The breakfast is good (we needed a plant-based milk and they provided it). The Wifi was good. The hotel is quiet. Just a note if you are sensitive to street noise you might want to ask for rooms which are facing the backyard.

The bathroom was very clean but it does not have support to fix the shower making a bit challenging to hold the soap and the shower at the same time.

Bathroom could have better ventilation. Instead of a full double bed we had two beds pushed together, which is not always ideal for a couple, but apart from that they were very comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety, there were even cooked options, like omelet or fried eggs . Great central location. The staff was extremely friendly.
