Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHappy with all.
Comfortable Triple room, not too squashed for three adults. Too hot to begin with, until heating turned down and windows opened. Easily reached by short walks (5-8 mins) from direct bus to airport, and tram into the city centre. Also a range of good eateries at same distance. Good cooked breakfast.

GreecePosition is in Brevnov, Prague 6, just a mile or so behind the Castle and it is well connected by tram lines 22 and 25. Plenty of choices around for food - local and ethnic - and drink. The familiar atmosphere of the hotel is what you need after a long day downtown Prague.

United KingdomShower cubicle would not be suitable for a larger person than myself,it's all uphill when you are coming back from the attractions of Charles Bridge/Old town etc but you can easily get a tram at a cheap price to get you back to the hotel. if you are a smoker then you go outside the front door no matter what the weather as that is the smoking area..there is a steep set of steps that lead to the street the hotel is in..
The price for the room included breakfast,meats/cheese/breads/eggs/sausages/coffee/tea/juices etc all available/self service..room was clean/comfortable and they cleaned it every day if you want that,I slept well on the bed, Rosenberg and others on reception were very helpful and booked taxis for me to and from the airport,it's a 25 minute walk down hill to Charles Bridge..local bars/restaurants nearby were very affordable if you are on a tight budget, located in a quiet street..all pretty good!

IrelandYou have to ring at the door every time you go out of the hotel to come inside which feels like going to a house. Although there is always someone to open the door - Television has no English channel, on a snowy day if you are stuck inside then there is nothing to watch -There is nothing to put on the door if you don't want to be disturbed - You may hear people in the lobby although it was only a certain time of the day - There is no fridge or kettle in the room but I have no complaints about it as the price for the room was very good
I arrived past midnight because of snow, and I managed to check-in. I was worried as I was quite late and if there was no one I wasn't sure if I will get a taxi to go somewhere considering the weather and time - For the price I paid it was a decent room - Check-in and Check out took less than 5 minutes each - There is a team stop close to the hotel and there are grocery stores close to tram station - The hotel was clean and staff is helpful

PolandMore vegan and GF options at the breakfast, but that's peanuts.
Cozy, traditional Czech hotel. I liked it and I would recommend it. Far away from the loud city center with a beautiful view and panorama of the city. If you want to experience the Czech neighborhood, this is the place. Plus 10 min by tram to the center, also a nice 20 min walk.

NetherlandsAs a downside I would definitely mark not having the key for the main entrance. Once I waited for a long while until someone opened the door. There is visible limestone damage to the shower cabin and curtains in my room were torn.
The location is pretty good, close to the airport and relatively close to the centre. The surroundings are super quiet which I loved a lot. The hotel itself is clean as well as the rooms. There is however some space for improvement. My stay came with breakfast which was pretty basic but sufficient.

DenmarkCertain things could need refreshment, such as the carpet in the room. Would have been better with work space in the room, instead of a TV standing on the only table.
Comfortable a bit old style hotel. Breakfast included, that was above average for this price point of a hotel. Nice and spacy room with a good bathroom. Hotel on a hilltop, with a good view of the city (keep this in mind if you are badly walking, then might not be for you)

RomaniaThe receptionist was terrible, he checked us in in almost 2 hours, (even though I sent the list of my tourists weeks before ). He did not speak English and did not understand that we had two bookings because 2 of our tourists booked a few days later. Finally, his boss helped us out. The bathroom s shower was very small.
The beds were comfy, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet, Everything was clean. The ladies at breakfast were nice.

Germanybreakfast was poor, in my opinion. sufficient to survive, but nothing apart from what can be bought in a supermarket for the simplest of breakfast. the elevator was quite old and it stank. at every floor, the top stair was taller than all the others. so if you didn't get used to it, you did stumble a lot (not too practical if you carry luggage) ... toilet bowl was "loose", it was visible they tried to stop the "wobble" with a piece of plastic wedge, but what that would've needed was some more of that wedge and a proper silicon seal.... the bathroom also stank.
though the reception guy was very young (could've been my son), he was always ready to help and assist and he was polite (and always there). the price was cheap (50€ / night)
