Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyMattress was too soft, I prefer to sleep on a more firm surface.
The environment was cozy, it was clean and spacious, and it made us not feel on top of each other. Great location, as we could walk everywhere since it was so closely located to the station but also to the city centre. Nice restaurant right on the doorstep (they had very nice beers in the menu). There is also a supermarket a few minutes down the road (we like to have snacks when exploring a city, just in case), and very close by a patisserie and a great kebab.

LatviaParking entry is sooooo narrow for a normal size car
It is quite a distance from old town if you want to walk and there is nothing special to see around. By car - excellent drive straight into the main centre with parking lots.

Czech Republicperhaps only the pillows could be bigger.
Excellent rich breakfast on the weekend until 11.00. We had an apartment with a separate bedroom, but we did not use the cooking facilities. Even if the street is pretty busy, the closed windows isolate the noise very well. The advantage is free parking in the garage. Location 15 minutes free walk from the center, where the most important sights and the possibility of shopping are located.

NetherlandsCheck in of guests by reception took staff a long time, which caused a cue and a long check in time (seemed if they had to pick a hotel room on the spot). In the room there was only one main (big) light to switch on, not verry cosy. Kitchen is there but does not contain pots and panns, only 2 knives, 2 cups etc. There is a coffee machine but only 2 pads, no cream. No airco. Curtain ripped. Stand-by light of TV in bedroom creates some light at dark (we covered it with a shirt to darken)
Breakfastbuffet is good, room was huge and was actually small appartement with kitchen, separate living room. There is a popular Brauhaus restaurant just next to it in same street with good food (German regional options). Area is relative quiet for a city, lots of offices in de area so quiet at night.

United KingdomWifi doesn't work properly. Has to be fixed because it wasn't possible to be online for long or do video calls or work properly.
Stuff was friendly and supportive. Free parking provided enough space even for SUV's. Near the hotel Lidl and a restaurant is located. Easy to reach Dresden Inner City and all the amenities.

SlovakiaThe air-ventilation was kind of loud. And the sound can be heard non-stop. Tv supports screen sharing however it does not work and there is no other option to watch streaming content on TV, bring your own device 🙂. This is unlucky as the screen is pretty big. My room was not cleaned through my 4 day stay. Not problem for me, but good to know.
Really good value, 30min walk to the centre or bus + 16min walk. Bus stop is right at the hotel. Very nice room, comfortable bed, free parking.

ItalyNo AC in the rooms, just a fan. Even though it's probably needed only from July till mid August. The area is a bit in the middle of nowhere, it works well to reach the bus station if you connect via Flixbus.
I was already here three times, so I knew what to expect. It is a clean hotel, the price is cheap for Dresden and it works decently enough if you have some professional activities in the area like I did.

Czech RepublicThere wasn't air conditioning so that made the room a bit stuffy. There was a fan in the closet that we were able to use which did help move some air and help the comfort level.
The room was roomy and the beds were comfortable. Check-in was smooth and check-out was even smoother. Nice location and the price was great.
