Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyBreakfast is too expensive. Parking is too expensive and no instructions in how to open the pole to the parking slots for the hotel.
Coffee, tea and water were available all day free of charge The apartment had everything you could think of.

CyprusIt was too pricey, last year same period I paid 82€ less, I really don't understand those cost increases.
I have stayed numerous times for business and it is one of my preferred accommodations. They also got improved a lot, in terms of cleanliness.

NetherlandsThe smoke detector being so close to the stove (and the hefty fee you have to pay if it goes off, which i completely understand) made us a little too nervous to use it to do any actual cooking. We decided to eat somewhere else instead
The rooms were a little more spacious than expected, which was nice. The location was near the shops and sights we wanted to visit. Also the free coffee and tea we could grab from the lobby was very nice and practical.

AustriaThere is a kitchen but no oil/basic condiments, so cooking actually is not the best option there. Also public transport isn’t the best in Cologne and it was a quite long road (with luggage) from where we got let off the bus- for whatever reason there was no tram service on our day of arrival.
The staff were friendly, the room spacious and fairly clean.

This is a great facility located within a short walk of the centre of Cologne. Staff were friendly and helpful and the addition of a small kitchenette was extremely useful.

United KingdomBed was quite firm (we both had back ache all weekend from it) and I'm not sure if it is a bed that folds up but I bashed my shin/leg on the metal and wood on the side of the bed every time I tried to get out! Our room was sickeningly hot and I tried and failed to use the aircon. We ended up opening both windows all day to get some cold air in the room, but left only one open of a night as we were put in a room on the side of the main road. We were asked if this was OK when checking in to which we said it was, but wasnt aware that we would need to open the window listening to emergency services going up and down all night (even with earplugs we could still hear this). Breakfast was offered to us however at 22euro PER DAY PER PERSON we felt this was excessive so just visited a local grocery store and made use of the kitchenette. Heating issue definitely needs to be looked into as it was very uncomfortable.
We arrived quite a bit before check in so the woman on the check in desk kindly allowed us to put our bags in a room whilst we explored the city. She advised that we could get a coffee as this was free to all guests. Shopping area is around a 10 minute walk away. After we had our walk we were checked in by a lovely lady who advised it was her first day on the job. I must say she was absolutely fantastic, recognised us when we went in and out and would give us recommendations. Sadly we didn't get her name but please pass on our praise to her as she was fantastic! Our room was a nice size had a kitchenette, a sliding door which was good to keep any noise out from the hallways. There was a pull out table to have food and a TV. Bed seemed really wide with separate duvets. Shower pressure was great, towels included and there was body wash/shampoo in the shower. You just need to get your own conditioner. Stay was quite pleasant!

IndiaThey do not provide cleaning service for stays less than 7 days.
Aparthotel is good, location is fantastic. But it’s a bit more expensive in terms of money. Studio rooms are smaller as compared to Adagio at other locations like in France or other European countries. So, value for money is not worth.

The apartments are in really good shape and modern and fully equipped. Bed was comfortable not so much the sofa bed(my friend said), but overall, it was a nice place to stay with very helpful staff. MaltaThe restriction on cooking due to potential fines for fire alarm was inconvenient, especially considering the alarm's placement in the kitchen. Additionally, the absence of cleaning services during the stay, coupled with the extra charge for it, was a downside. The 18 euro per person breakfast cost is too expensive.
I had a fantastic stay at this centrally located hotel. Its proximity to amenities, the city center, and train stations made it incredibly convenient. The staff's friendliness added a warm touch to the experience, and the complimentary coffee and tea were a delightful bonus. The spacious hotel rooms provided a comfortable retreat, making my visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

NetherlandsExpensive. Should have a cheaper parking arrangement. More coffee pods in the room.
Good location. Everything is nearby. Centrum is close. All amenities provided. There were activities for kids as well in the lobby. We were given milk for kids in the middle of the night when everything was closed, no charge. Didn’t take breakfast so cannot comment on that. But it was quite an expensive stay. Parking was also expensive. Maybe all because of the new year time. Hence I will still give a 5 star.
