This was meant to have been a smoke free hotel. There was a communal lounge next to our room that was used as a smoking lounge which means their non smoking policy was not enforced. There was a strong smoking smell in the top floor.

It was great walking distance from one of the stations. Very convenient. Staff were very helpful in giving us extra passes and suggestions in activities to do in the area.

Didn't realise there was hot breakfast available. Maybe give the info in room or on sitting at table. Beds and sofa a little on hard side. Instructions for coffee maker. Maybe provide some bubble bath for bath.

From the moment you arrive with the owner directing you to your parking spot everything is superb. Furnished to a high standard the rooms are superb suites with glass fronted bathrooms . Excellent breakfast and staff are very attentive. They also do dinning aswell

There is nothing I didnt like about this hotel. it was great in every way

Well presented rooms, bike parking adjacent to the building and felt secure. Centered in the town of Freudenstadt Breakfast as usual was varied and tasty Didnt eat dinner in the restaurant but ventured into the town square where we had an exceptional meal.

Room was immaculate. Extremely modern, we were very impressed with the information tablet, modern shower, and comfort. Breakfast had more than enough of everything, really nice and great coffee. We ate one evening in the restaurant, food was great. For a 3 star hotel you cannot ask for more. Room had a balcony, not a great view, but for us that was not important, it is just having that outside space. Although we did not use the lounge and smokers' room, it was an excellent set-up and the beer from the fridge was very reasonable. A two minute walk to the main square and no problems parking.

Our car not one down and when we arrived it was evening. The hotel was on a corner of an unpleasant pedestrian area and not shown in Booking.com. it was in the evening and there were some worrying people around, some drunk and others suspicious. We did not feel comfortable leaving my car or staying there and unable to find parking, we drove off. I contacted the hotel to ask for a refund and they refused. we had booked the hotel on that day so they’d lost nothing but still refused.

Seems like the manager was in a bad mood and the breakfast was quite sparse.

You get what you expect, nothing more nothing less, all around solid hotel for a quick stopover. Town is small so location is not important but it is quite central.
