Room: only one pillow. No mirror. Location: bit far for somebody on foot (like me), buses run only once every hour and not at night. Emails before arrival contained a lot of 'don'ts', despite the fact that all information was available from the website at booking. It's not very friendly.

Wifi was weak and sometimes non-existent. Check-in times were a little inflexible but family, who had arrived earlier, was able to pick up keys outside the check-in hours.

The Wifi connection was unstable and the internet was not available in the room. We kept receiving emails about the check-in times (before and on the day of our arrival) even after confirming that we would arrive at the expected time. ONE email (or max. two) would have been enough.

Good room(s), big bathroom, excellent breakfast. Indoor pool and sauna are very clean and a great addition on a cold and rainy afternoon. Friendly satff, good parking at no extra cost. Recommended for those who are ready to use their car during their stay. Although the hotel is only 0.7 km from the city centry, the walk is over a hill and feels fairly long, especially on a rainy day.

Its a 15 minute walk from the centre which is very nice but pretty hilly and tough going with my 22kg suitcase. There is a bus that runs from bus/train station and drops you very close to hotel but only runs once per hour and stops around 6.15pm. We struggled to find anywhere open in bertchesgaden to get juice/snacks in the evening but they have a fridge in the hotel that you can get some cold drinks from.

Lovely, clean hotel in berchtesgaden. Room spacious with nice big balcony. Breakfast good and the wifi worked in our room which i wasnt expecting from previous reviews. Unfortunetly the weather wasnt nice enough to use the pool but the garden and pool area looked lovely.

Don't count too much on the bus or public transport that's supposed to take you from the train station to the hotel. It was out of use due to construction work when we got there, so we had to take a taxi. The rest we managed by going on foot to the town center.

The view from the balcony and the sorroundings were wonderful. You can recharge your batteries here from the nature all around. We loved being able to go for a swim after breakfast and than sunbathing on the lawn. The hotel is located ideally, very close to the forest and you can get to the town center by foot in aprox 10-15 min. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is rich, we feel that we made an inspired choice staying here.

no access to any facilities in the Tom other than a fridge, no way to make coffees or to give the children warm drinks. coffee available but you have to pay. kitchenette in room but this is all locked up. frustrating when you’re 10mins from town and no restaurant on site.

It's all about timing, time range is really too tight. To summarize, not worth it if one night only. Restrictive check-in timing: 2pm-6pm Check-out is really early on a Sunday: max 10am. Timing for breakfast is really tight: 7.30am-9.30am on a Sunday morning Sauna timing: 4.30pm-7.30pm

Unfortunately for us and for those, who will got back to the hotel later than 7:30 PM because the pool world (inc. 3 saunas) was already closed without the possibility to extend the time.

The accommodation was great and luxury. The view from the balcony to Apls and Kehlstein (Eagle nest) is amazing and unforgetable. The big and 2-floors situated room surprised us too. The breakfast was rich, varied, and unlimited. The inside pool and saunas are great places for rest.

Everything looks amazing. The bed is super comfortable, the rooms smell amazing and they were all the time cleaned. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The sauna and pool area is also beautiful and the breakfast incredible. The location also is very accessible with bus or walking.

The quintessential Bavarian Gasthaus!! It had ample parking and fairly easy to drive to. A super friendly staff and the breakfast was well above average!

The stuff wasn’t helpful at all, we didn’t checked check-in time and we were late and we were calling and writing if it’s possible to just pickup the keys somewhere else (e.g. at somebody’s house cause we needed some place to stay) and nobody answered the phone, nobody helped us so we had to pay for other night somewhere else. Since this accommodation was expensive I expected whole other level of help. Also breakfast wasn’t special, the usual with no extra.
