It was all ok, no issues.

Location is excellent, essentially in the town centre. One car park very close, others not far away. Room was fine, big enough and comfortable. Breakfast not offered, but plenty of good early morning cafes within 100 yards, so not a problem. Staff able to respond to queries readily.

It's a self check-in so we didn't see anyone. The instructions emailed ahead were fine, but when we arrived (along with another couple who had booked separately) at 14:30, the door was locked. There was no answer to the door bell or the phone number. When we came back an hour later the door was open, all good. The shower door didn't close (broken) and there weren't any glasses, just plastic mugs. If they invested a little on maintenance and a different check in system, this would be good value.

Fantastic location, just around the corner from the town square, right in the centre of the old town. The room was big, lots of room to open suitcases and move around. The room also has a lot of character, even if it's a bit shabby chic. It was clean, and the cleaner was very friendly when we saw her in the morning.

There is no elevator and the proprietor could not provide any help to seniors trying to get their luggage upstairs, the restaurant was busy and seemed to be the priority at check-in time. They would only provide one key and we had multiple adults in the family room.

We loved the staff, super helpful and friendly! It was ideal that there was a restaurant down stairs, we arrived later in the evening and were worried no where would be open to eat. We had some lovely pizza downstairs. Room was clean, spacious. View was good! There was parking which was free from 6pm till 6am, a short 8 min walk from the hotel. Hotel was right in the centre, so price was pretty good We had a private bathroom which was great also clean

It’s good value for money, but it is old building and you have to accept that it’s not 5 star. Its quirky and rickety. You have to be able to climb stairs and carry your own bags.

The location can’t be beaten for the Rothenburg Markets. Fantastic. The restaurant served great Italian food with excellent service. The owner is attentive and friendly.

We chose the hotel based on its central location. We were very pleased with that. This is a city that is really worth visiting. We ate breakfast at a sidewalk restaurant.

The bathroom was minimally furnished with amenities, and the room had no air conditioning. It was cool enough at night with the windows open, but the bells ringing and birds did wake us up a bit

The location was excellent. It was very close to Marketplaz and everything else you would want to see in Rothennburg. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The room was comfortable and decorated in a very cute old local style. The restaurant downstairs was open for Italian dinner, and the food was quite good.

Of all the rooms ours was the smallest. We had to move chairs out of the room in order to get our smallish suitcases in there. The tub/shower was difficult to get in and out of. So small too.

I booked 3 rooms. We were 3 couples from 3 generations traveling together I requested a room in a lower floor which was honored. The location was great plus the Italian restuarant downstairs was very good.

Our room hadn't a refined forniture like the other rooms. What a pity! Because we have seen the other rooms were very better. The bed was not a couple bed, but two single beds linked.
