Waits at reception were quite lengthy.

Location for Velodrome is perfect and it’s well connected so you’re easily in other parts of Berlin. The vegan corner and wide choice of vegan options at breakfast were the best I’ve seen.

- it is impossible to open the window, you have to ask for the key at the reception - there was citric acid in the kettle, so for the first time you could simply pour out the coffee and tea (at first you still had to guess why everything was so sour) - the girl at the reception was absolutely useless. we told her that we needed to wash the kettle, there was acid in it, and she “I understand, this is how we clean kettles!”. neither “sorry” nor “of course, we will fix it”...

- the hotel is huge and very clean - we were checked in much earlier because there was a free room - any issues were resolved immediately - if you ask not to clean the room, you can get a waffle :) - the hotel is not close to the center, but there is a direct tram and train nearby

Very little instant coffee provided. Only one elevator location, thus long walk to room through corridors.

Excellent location and beautiful, modern corner room with windows in two directions. Transportation right outside the door. Two grocery stores within 2 minutes walk. Excellent sound-proofing of room.

the vending machine required a german id to use it for alcohol after hours.

Amazing quality hotel with everything you could want and expect from a high quality establishment. the rooms are perfectly well organized, beautiful bathroom and extremely clean and efficient establishment. the breakfast was also amazing.

The breakfast is over rated and priced for the options when it came to the hot food needs to be more variety. And the staff at breakfast could have been more welcoming and room service needs a lil work ie more variety. And when coming ti the rooms knock and wait till someone comes to the door no way at all should a staff member enter when not been asked to had this issue. So that was not a good welcome even tho it was meant to be. World benefit for having a choice of bedding ie I am allergic to feathers and I know that’s standard but think it should be a option and at no extra cost. Also there was ants in the bathroom

The spa that was not listed is a nice surprise , the hotel it self is good really enjoyed my stay and it’s near to most things or at least all is accessible via public transport ect. The front desk staff are welcoming and helpful plus the travel desk person also. The lounge area is lovely and I slept well felt comfortable in my room and I definitely would stay here again.

The breakfast was overpriced. 28 euro Missing kettle in room or a way to fill up a thermos with hot water for tea. I was searching for a while and it was hard to find anyone to ask, and when I did find someone they did not know (front desk also didn't know).

Overall, the stay was very good. However, there are some issues with the general cleanliness and equipment of the rooms. We booked 2 separate rooms. One of them was very well equipped however, the second one had a broken TV. There was no "do not disturb sign" as well as a bag for a gift when the guest didn't want room service every day. What is more, in one of the rooms, the bathroom was dirty. The shower was all in scale and there were some places with mold. The seal at the bottom was broken, so either the door didn't close or the water came out from the shower on the floor. I was really disappointed with that. What is more, I had a room with windows with a street view, and it was very loud outside at night. I heard all the cars and trams. One more thing in terms of the room service. I had only 1 toilet paper in the bathroom. On the second day, nobody gave me some toilet paper. I had to ask the staff on the third day for the toilet paper. In general, the stay was very good. I enjoyed breakfasts, it had all I needed and good coffee. But I would advise you to take more care of the equipment, facilities and the room service.

The breakfast was very good. It had plenty of different buns and breads, a few types of ham, cheese, blue cheese, etc. You can choose between hard-boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. If you want, you can order an omelet, fried or soft-boiled egg. There are a lot of fruits, muesli, and some vegetables. Black coffee is served by the staff and you can order cappuccino or latte. The hotel is not located in the city center, but there is a tram stop and an S stop just outside of the hotel, so you can very easily get to different places in Berlin. There is an Aldi very close to the hotel in case you need any groceries. Also, there is a shop with souvenirs at the hotel, as well as a flower shop. The staff is very nice and helpful.

They collected 50 EUR for the use of minibar. But they did not give it back. The guaranteed it will be transferred to the account. But German hotels never did this voluneteerly .

Breakfast needs some more variety please. For those staying more than a night the selection on offer is not good enough.

Comfortable bed in a good sized room, with a great bathroom. Flexible check-in was very appreciated. Quiet in the corridors made for a good night sleep.
