Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no shampoo in the bathroom so make sure you bring your own.
Nice large space with small kitchen. Front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

The only thing I didn't like were the motion sensored lights in the bathroom. Especially at night if I just wanted to use the loo without turning the lights on.
The place was fantastic! It was extremely clean and modern. Our Appartement was very spacious. The location was excellent as well it took about 8 minutes to walk to the train station. 5 Minuten to the shopping centre and about 9 minutes to thw nearest lidl. The location also meant central Hamburg was about 5-10 minutes on the train.. It was so convenient! Getting in amd out of the building was super easy, Receptionists were helpful! I would certainly stay here again and have recommended it already!

Small things, really - the pillows were way too big and uncomfortable to sleep on and there was no alternative provided; the heating system’s a bit weird, turn it up to 4 - it feels like it isn’t on at all, put it up to 5 and 15 minutes later the room’s a sauna 😁
We made a great choice with this place! We had to check in quite late, they made sure to provide us with a self check-in option - quick and easy. The apartment was easy to find, very close to the U bahn station, very clean and equipped with everything we needed, incl. kitchen utensils, we could’ve cooked if we felt like it. The neighbourhood is quiet, not too far from the city centre, about 40 minutes away by foot.

There was no area to work from home other than the room. There's lots of space to work from the room but it's nice to be able to work from home outside your room. There's no where to order food from in the property.
The room was spacious. The location was close to a station which made it easy to get around.

Everything perfect for us
Large, airy, quiet one room apartment Few minutes walk from supermarket, restaurants & train station..... U3, this line does a circuit of the city so very convenient. Very quiet area. Super comfortable bed. Loved our stay & would highly recommend to family & friends.

Everything was perfect. The building has a lift. However, you still need to climb a couple of stairs at the entrance of the building. Not a problem but good to know beforehand.
The size of the room, decoration, matrasess, the variety of the utensiles were very satisfied. Also the location was not the city center, but close to the s-bahn station. There is a shopping mall close to the apartment040 and the neighborhood made us also feel very safe.

The apartment is big and clean with a nice small kitchennet and everything that you might need for a short stay. The concierge was superfriendly. The place is less than 5 mins from the U3. There were two adults and two kids, and there was enough place for everyone. Kids slept on the bed and said that it was like sleeping on the cloud.We slept on the sofa, and it was also very comfy. There is a crocery store right around the corner.

Everything was Perfect
I had a lovely stay in this cozy apartment. The position Is great, in a very nice and quiet area. the city center Is very close and the metro station Is a few minutes walking distance. The apartment was big, fully equipped and spotless clean. A special thanks to the people at the reception. They are helpful and kind. It s definitely the Place where to stay in HAMBURG!

The appartement had a bad smell when i came in maybe the carpet, after opening the windows for a while the smell was gone but was back when i came back later the next day
Very larg loft appartement i like to have the space even though I'm an soli traveller, but this room has enough space for 4 people.
