TV broke, Shower was a little small.

My room got changed into a double, due to capacity, which is great :) TV didn't work, (I brought my laptop so it was no big deal) as an apology for the inconvenience I got a box of chocolates! Thank you for your flexibility and kindness.

The room was next to the shared bathroom, and it was very very noisy. Every time someone spoke, closed their doors or went to the bathroom, I could hear loudly. No noise reduction, seemed like the walls were made out of paper. It was impossible for me to sleep. Not recommend to light sleepers.

the room was good, clean and basic necessities met. The location is perfect for those who travel by train. Stuff was great.

NO ELEVATOR FOR LARGE BAGGAGE.

ENGLISH STYLE HOTEL, THERE IS DOOR GUARD FOR 24 HOURS SO NO MAIN DOOR KEY. THE BREADFAST HAS MANY CHOICE TO EAT AND COFFEE BOTTLE IS FULL TO DRINK THREE CUPS. THE HOTEL LOCATION IS NEAR COLONG TRAIN STATION AND VERY CONVENIENT. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Not a major complaint, but in the lobby, there was nowhere to sit and wait for people to come down or anywhere just to hang out

You can not leave your bag at the reception on sundays. Nobody work.

Location is very good and close to train station. The hotel and room are clean and relax than I expected. Also there was no noise outside. It was peaceful.

Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding with payment. Reception manager asked for payment, although my card had already been charged by Booking. In the end everything was figured out and my "extra" payment returned, but I think these troubles could be avoided

Convinient location for short stay near the railway station. Rather spacious and clean room, Haribo as a welcome treat was a nice touch

Booked last minute as there were train cancellations. Had a good night sleep after the whole day of travelling. Overall, nice place.

5 minutes walk to the Dom and the Christmas markets. You are basically in the centre of Koln and can park the car (at a small cost) so perfect really!

Hotel choice made based on parking availability and central location... Once there and payment made learnt there was no parking space... Too late to find another solution. Shower and Toilet shared on the floor. A bit of a youth hostel at a 3*** room rate.

Very small bathrooms/restrooms per floor not per room, however that clearly was advertised so not really an "unexpected, negative thing".

Great location next to the City centre, the central station and even the music dome. Easy to get around from there. Very kindhearted staff.

My room (N. 24) had a sink with hot tapwater only. You can hear everything through the thin wooden doors, including the phone alarm of your neighbour.

The breakfast is very good. I also was impressed by the great professionality of the staff, they deserve a big compliment. Location was exceptional. Room had a nice balcony.

The bed was a little too soft for my taste, but it was OK. The blackout curtains did not close completely and were not totally opaque, but in October, with late sunrise, that was not a problem.

Great position, literally opposite the metro and the central station. Nice hosts. Clean and comfortable single room for the price. No fridge, no safe, as per description. Decent WiFi. A sink is available inside the room, with soap and towels. Two shared bathrooms on the hallway, with sink, shower and toilet, clean but a little small; one more shared bathroom in the hallway contains only the toilet and is really tiny; never had to queue for the bathroom (in my understanding several other rooms have private bathroom).

The bathroom and the restroom were in the corridor and it was mentioned during my booking just it was more uncomfortable than I expected.

The hotel is well situated in a nice area near the railway station. The hotel is very clean and the bed was comfortable. The personnel was very nice and helpful.
