Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Teabags in room should be replenished every day. Hotel is a distance from restaurants and shops.
Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with wide selection including fresh fruit. Tea and coffee facilities in room, Room serviced every day. Useful table and chair with good lighting to do work.

TV channels in English were limited.
The location was in a very nice neighborhood, next to a university campus, park, kindergarten, near a cafe, supermarket, and within walking distance from a charming shopping area with little shops, (more) cafes and restaurants. The hotel staff were super-efficient, helpful, friendly, and spoke excellent English. The room was quite large, as was the bed , firm mattresses, soft pillows (some guests might not like this), clean bed sheets. It has a space with furniture to work with a laptop, easy access to electricity points, good lighting, the room temperature was centrally controlled. The hotel has its own restaurant and offered room service.

When you put soap on your body and you want to turn on the shower, than you are in trouble! This stylish design armature has poor functionality. A rubber grip would be a great help
Room design, Bar Service and Breakfast were perfect. Help desk very helpful. Tasty apples! Very best pumpkin soup! Martini Clinic close by, if you have to consult !?

Our two-night stay at dorint hotel was marred by a significant issue. We had booked two rooms for four adults and two children, expecting suitable arrangements. However, upon arrival, we were informed that no extra beds were available for our children. An email offering a family room for €41 extra had been sent, but I missed it. Consequently, we had to make do with a single queen-sized bed, making our stay uncomfortable. When we inquired about alternatives, we were told all rooms were fully booked, leaving us in an uncomfortable sleeping situation. While there were some positive aspects to our stay, this issue significantly impacted our experience. Clearer communication regarding family room options during booking and better solutions for such issues would greatly improve the guest experience. Despite this setback, we appreciate the efforts of the staff in other areas. We hope this feedback helps enhance future guest experiences.
The breakfast was very good and the hotel was very clean and modern ,I really like the little place for children in the ground floor near the reception

Price of the buffet was a little high. Need soda/water machine on each floor or every other floor so I don't have to go down to the front desk for liquids.
Front desk was excellent with help about where to go in the surrounding area. The room was very clean and well serviced during my 8 day stay. Buffet was very good.

Blankets too thick for summer time, sauna facilities were defect (compensation would have been nice), hotel staff could be a little bit more service-oriented, mini-bar was removed (no refrigerarion possibility).
