Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusClose to the borders of Switzerland and genuinely next to St. Louis in France so it’s close to everywhere also very close to center of bicycle. It was very comfortable very practical right next to the hotel. There’s a big mall with restaurants, supermarket pharmacy anything you could possibly need!

United States of AmericaSignage from the parking to the hotel entrance could be better. Pro tip: when you come down the elevator to the ground floor from parking, DO NOT enter the mall. Even though the sign for HOTEL seems to be saying to. Instead, go to the right and follow the car entrance path to the first door on your left. If you're arriving late, this will be dark. Do not be deterred, there's an elevator in there that will take you to the 6th floor.
Kinda a weird layout, but overall a nice place. Comfortable beds, clean, lovely high ceilings, and very spacious.

United KingdomI had asked for synthetic duvets due to an allergy to feathers and they had put feathers on which I didn't notice when i first collapsed in the room but they were able to change it when asked. Lack of signs in the main building about where the rooms are.
Excellent breakfast cheaper if you book in advance. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as its very busy round thre on on a Saturday afternoon but there were spaces once you could get into the carpark (Free from 6th floor up). Nice big room with kettle and coffee. very comfy bed. Loads of shops and places to eat nearby.

FranceThe beds had jersey type fitted sheets on them and not cotton so they were very “itchy”! Also, says air conditioned but they turn OFF AC from October to May so for cool fresh air , you have to open the window ( not quiet). It is standard in a lot of Germany to turn off AC but if you need quiet and cool to sleep, this may not be the best option for a 4* hotel
Excellent location, great breakfast and staff, rooms were large and had good amenities. Parking free in shopping mall garage .

United KingdomOnly slightly annoying thing was the motion activated light in the room entrance area, but we just took the card out of the slot at night to stop it coming on if we visited the loo. Maybe a few more glasses/plates/bowls in the kitchen, but we weren't doing serious cooking so not really an issue.
Easy free parking (follow the plan and it's actually quite straightforward). Large room with sitting area, comfy bed, excellent shower, good wifi, friendly staff. We'd booked a room with kitchenette, which was very minimally equipped but did give us the option for breakfast and basic snacks/meals in the room. Great location, trams to Basel stop just outside, walk over the bridge to France, easy to get to the railway station for a trip to Freiburg. Real Dreiländer position. Enormous supermarket in the shopping centre below, open until 10pm so great for buying all those exciting foreign grocery items!

United KingdomThere was a buzzing sound in the room that happened every few seconds and was very annoying! We thought it was the air conditioning unit, but then when we turned it off it kept happening. The kitchenette was very poor as it had very little in it so was totally useless for cooking in!
Room was a good size and clean. Good location. Breakfast was really good. Staff friendly and helpful
