It’s not actually minus but you need to be aware of it. The check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 10:00 am, so plan your time properly.

The flat was very clean and we found all what we needed. It’s very cosy and for that price u will have everything what you need. All the kitchen utensils are available. There is parking for free in front of the apartment. Also you will find a nice terrace.

We were quoted a figure by Booking.com that included fees and charges/taxes. When we arrived we received an invoice for an additional €20 for cleaning and €7 for city tax. I queried this with the owner and she took off the €20. I had the feeling this would be a common practice there ( but not in the other places we stayed). Also, I suspect it would be better to stay in Fussen as the buses go from there and you have a bigger choice of restaurants and other facilities.

The beds were not very comfortable. I also killed about 50 bugs our first night, and there are leftover bits of cobwebs throughout from the many spiders. The house is in the countryside and there is no A/C, and since windows and doors don't have screens, there are bound to be a lot of bugs inside.

The location is great, being minutes away by car from the castles as well as great restaurants. Reminded me of visiting my grandparents in the country. Unlike some previous reviews, I found that there was free WiFi available that worked fine. Also, we were not disturbed at 8 AM to pay before checkout, but rather asked to pay at the building next door, which I did at about 9 AM before the 10 AM checkout time. Our first night after returning from dinner I found someone had parked in the space assigned to my apartment, but I called the owner at 9 PM, which was answered, and although he only spoke German I was able to understand enough to know I could park at the adjacent address, which was connected.

We didn't like cash payment which is not convenient (the closest town is not too close if you need an ATM). Also, cash collection was early in the morning at 8.30, the host knocked on the door when I just got out of bed. It is rude to disturb our privacy - even though she left a note on the table to take cash to her apartment upon leaving. Wifi was dropping off.

Nicely furnished with colours, a terrace with a lovely view. Really nice dinnerware with good quality plates. Very easy key collection placed in a safe box, so we didn't need to rush to get there by time. It is a bit of walk to the closest town but we didn't mind it and we checked it on the map before booking. Bed and bedding was comfortable for one night.

The host is mot very friendly. We arrived 10 minutes early for a 3 pm check-in( which is very late in my standards) after more tham a 24 hours travel( from Australia) and was un-impressed. She has charged me separate for cleaning and local taxes( although my booking was saying includes all the taxes and fess). Had to complain to booking.com to get some back. (Reluctantly). Only wants cash despite the website is providing card payment No separate sitting area, just the kitchen and 2 bedrooms ( admittedly big for Europe) Also, be warned Aussie/ Kiwi traveler: no coffee, no microwave, no toaster. Just basic kitchen staff

It was not possible to pay by card. WiFi quality was terrible and it was not easy to find/use outlets close to the couch or bed. Minor point: No shower gel or shampoo was available.

There is a view (somewhat in the distance) of Neuschwanstein Castle! The location is good, not too close to town but accessible quite fast by bike, bus, or car (less than 5 min). Walking to Füssen is also possible (±20 min). The surrounding area is really nice, quiet, and very idyllic. I liked the traditional style of the studio, we stayed in the attic and I found it cute that each flat had its own theme. Ours was called Ludwig and it had many references to Ludwig II of Bavaria. The balcony was really nice too, although the length of our stay did not allow us to use it. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Key handover is flexible too.

There aren’t a lot of food options nearby and there are some strict rules about cooking within the apartment. We didn’t love the bed and the couch was very loud and creaky when you sit on it. There is a balcony but you can see very clearly through the floor so it’s not that comfortable if there are other guests below. They request you pay cash which is fine, just make sure you have the exact amount as they don’t offer change, we lost 3 euro. Which I know, doesn’t sound like much and we wouldn’t have mentioned it if some tea and coffee were provided in the room but they weren’t. It was the only place we stayed in Europe that did not offer these.

Lovely little room in Schwangau, with views of the castle and mountain in the distance. Easy to get around via bike, buses are regular at least hourly and it was easy to find from the main station. Very cosy room with clean amenities. The ceilings are low in places which you can tell from the picture so no surprise there.

I would recommend to include dishwash machine in the apartment facilities.

Excellent location, on walking distances to the palaces (ca 40 min) and Fussen (ca 20 min), big supermarkets in nearby: Fussen (ca 1.2 km) and Schwangau (ca 1.8 km). Spacious apartment with beautiful garden, very clean and comfortable. Heating is also excellent. Kitchen is fully equipped, you will find anything you need for cooking. I would highly recommend this apartmant.
