The price was in line with a good hotel, not a hostel with reception being closed parts of the day. Paying extra for bed linen is a hassle, and needing to do it with PayPal complicated matters.

Staff was very friendly and easy to get in contact with. Location is very close to central station. Our room for four people was big and comfortable.

A great hostel if you're travelling on a tight budget. The kitchen for guests is well equipped.

The room door makes a loud click when you close it. This makes is impossible to visit the bathroom quietly at night. No wall hooks or storage other then a small sidetable. Room next to communal kitchen was noisy in the morning. Some of the pillows were really flat and limp.

Easy to reach from the train station. Family rooms available as well as a communal kitchen. The breakfast is simple but nice enough. Beds were pretty comfy. Terrace outside when the weather is nice.

I did not realize that bed linen was not included as I booked the same day due to delayed trains. I got a message telling me I needed to book bed linens and pay extra, which rang and asked for. I got one pillow case and one bag sheet, no flat bottom sheet, not sure how that was supposed to work. I had to get up early to catch the next train which meant that I could not have breakfast as it started at 7.30 which was too late for me, smelled good though when I left. I was pleased to find somewhere to spend the night so thank you.

The pillow was so old it was all bulky, really should be replaced. Privacy curtains for the dorm beds would have been nice. Our 4 bed dorm was in fact for 5 people, as there was one queensize bed, which is a bit awkward. Missed a reading light and power outlet at the bed.

Great value for money. Central location in between the train station and city centre. Nice garden in front divided in a smoking and non-smoking section. Well equipped communal kitchen. Large common area downstairs. Weren’t that many guests staying, so didn’t really meet anyone. Great water pressure in the showers. Nice little shelf that functioned as a nightstand for each bed.

I would recommend the hostel to change pillows - they were simply terrible :-) Poor quality of bed linen and towels. The hostel was renovated not so long time ago, so everything is nice, but the walls are thin, and you can hear what your neighbours are saying, especially if they believe they are alone in the whole building. So maybe a sign in every room could help, something like "please be mindful of your neighbours".

Short walk to the city centre, good kitchen facilities and enough room in the kitchen. I really enjoyed that there wasn't any air conditioning, the windows could be opened, there was central heating that cold be regulated. Nice small and green garden. WiFi worked fine.

The walls are not super thick or isolated so you can easily hear people from adjacent rooms. Price is a bit high for a property such as this.

First, the entire place needs a huge renovation, it's old and outdated. The common toilet and shower area stinks so badly. The bathroom has no ventilation and there was so much humidity. You could see the molg growing on the ceiling and the walls. There was also mold being the bed under the window in the sleeping room. It was super cold and the humidity doesn't help. We couldn't just sit on the sofa and we had to have cover us with the duvets, so cold it was. Even when you turn on the heat, the radiator barely got warm. The place ain't cheap. Almost 100€ for a night is definitely what a good room costs many places. Therefore: a huge no from us

Exceptionally hot room with no air flow even when the window was open. The 4 bed mix dorm is very small which did not help the temperature of the room. Bunk beds moved a lot and there were no higher charging points on the top bunks.

Close to the train station and 10 minute walk from the centre of Flensburg Pedestrianised areas. Check in was easy and quick as was access to the room and hostel using key fob.
