We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Loved the location-right in the center of old town, even our windows gave us an awesome view. The room was very spacious with a a bit of privacy between the two beds. Loved being in such an old historic building with all the historical features. Staff was very pleasant and we enjoyed a delicious dinner on site.

AustraliaFinding the hotel car park was tricky, ask the hotel before trying. The lighting of the mezzanine area of the first floor is not very good in the evening so getting in and out of the hotel room after dark is inconvenient.
The location is very central to the old part of the city. Effortless access to all attractions. The hotel restaurant serves the best Schnitzel we have tasted in Bavaria. The staff is very helpful and funny.

ArmeniaThe liquid soap wasn't good. My hands got dry and cracked (my skin is very sensitive). If the soap could be changed that would make the stay perfect. And that's it. Can't think of a single other thing that we didn't like.
The location of this hotel is stunning - one step out and you're on the main square! The building itself is like a small museum be it exteriors or the interior, it's just perfectly beautiful 14th century house (please remember this fact). There's also a cute 9 and 3/4 room on the second floor! The staff was amazing at everything. They were extremely friendly, helpful, polite and nice. Firstly, me and my sister arrived at the city way before the check in starts and just wanted to leave our stuff at the luggage room but the we were told that we can actually check in right now. Secondly, we didn't have a kettle in the room but were welcomed to ask for hot water at the restaurant (it is on the first floor and is absolutely wonderful) which we did several evenings in a row. The restaurant staff never failed to please us - we had two meals here only because there were some restaurants that I picked months ago so didn't have to have dinner everyday at the same place, but we totally could do so at the Goldener Greifen, The breakfast is included in the price of the room and we've enjoyed every bite and sip of it. Our room was big enough for two people. It was warm even when the heating was turned off and it's a great thing in February. The mattresses and pillows were great, I had good sleep for all 4 nights we were staying here and even my bad neck wasn't hurting.

AustraliaBreakfast staff assumed we knew how their kitchen / breakfast arrangements worked and got a little cranky when we didn't know what we were doing, otherwise staff were lovely.
Location could not have been more perfect! Right in the centre of old town near the town square. An easy walk to anywhere within the old town and to the town walls to see the view of the valley. Breakfast was basic but good. The room was very comfortable.

the location is always the best and so nice to see the owner again. I liked the upgraded bathroom and my memories there are great. I wanted to bring my mom one last time.

Great hotel, great location. A very good German provincial hotel. The rooms are fuindtyional rather than luxurious, but in Rothenburg if you are ion your room you have got it all wrong. IIt is the most beautiful town. Very good breakfast and lovely staff. Within 70m of the market square, it could not be better located.

GermanyI ate at the restaurant and if you're familiar with Franconian food, it's okay. Of course grandma can make it better, but for being such a prominent hotel in such a prominent tourist town, it's a good exposure to the regional cuisine.
I loved how clean it was - it felt like someone's personal home that they desired to keep as clean as possible. Quality linens/towels that felt substantial in the hand.
