Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We didn't eat breakfast as felt it was a little expensive and the other restaurant was sushi which is not for me. Had it been a general restaurant we would of used.
Excellent service on reception - helpful staff, we arrived earlier and was able to lock the cases away and go out exploring. We had a large room with comfortable bed, large shower, water ws hot. Location is great and easy to walk to sites and restaurants nearby were good.

The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of a phone in the room should you need to contact Reception.
Our room was at the back of the hotel and surrounded by residential flats. Everything was so quiet as there was no vehicle access. Windows were "tilt and turn" variety so we could get fresh air, and there were blackout curtains too. The breakfast buffet had a very wide variety of foods and drinks and a policy of "eat as much as you like - but don't take more than you need and waste it". Excellent!

No tea or coffee making facility in the room. There was a drinks station in the coriander but only had herbal tea when we were there.
Hotel was in a good location for exploring Berlin by foot. Some nice restaurants and bars close by. The on-site restaurant was extremely good and great value.

The rooms walls were really dirty covered in marks and holes. Wouldn’t say that the room was worth the money.
I liked the area of the property. Water stations were really helpful near the room and the bar staff in particular was really nice.

labeling the food correctly. muslims and jews don't eat pork.
Breakfast was great except for the fact that they mislabeled pork and chicken, which made me eat pork. i am a muslim and i ate it without knowing it, when asked they said they simply got it wrong. i would have expected a more sense when it comes to things like this because not all people eat pork and it was unacceptable.

I found it quite ridiculous when after cleaning, instead of completely new and sufficiently large for a family of 3 people, we received 2 used toilet paper rolls, clearly coming from another room, one third of normal size… had to go to reception to ask for a normal toilet paper roll… “Junior suite” is overpriced.
Perfect location, close to various U metros. many cafes and restaurants around.

20 euro for breakfast? Do I have a butler and gold flakes in the yoghurt? Madness! But very little to dislike about this place apart from the mad prices for breakfast.
Really nice place, much cooler and nicer aesthetic than I had imagined. Very nice beds, comfortable and very helpful staff.

Needs a bit of TLC to the bathroom/shower and our bedding had other people’s hair in it.Also most of the charging sockets did not work in the room.

Breakfast seemed expensive at €20. Tea, coffee and water station on different floors was inconvenient and limited types of tea avaliable.

the walk-in shower had serious water pressure issues (water trickled out!) Few electrical outlets and located in very inconvenient places.
The hotel is conveniently reachable by public transportation. The furnishings are functional. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. The room was spacious and well equipped for two people.

Usual parking nightmares. Only 10 spaces at hotel soon fully booked. Then get a park house which can be quite a trek with suitcases.
