Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe place is well situated some 600m from the railway station. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and overall the place was cosy and hospitable. We appreciated the host, Ela, a gracious lady who fronted the hotel at the reception. Worth going to again! 😊

IndiaThe room felt a bit dated. The bathroom/toilet of the room we were staying had a weird stench to it. One of the window shutter didn't close. We went down to ask for fix or change the room, unfortunately the staff didn't offer any assistance. Our room faced the street, and due to the malfunctioning shutter, every passing ambulance or police vehicle lit up the room, disrupting our sleep. While the room was generally quiet, the frequent sirens at night made it difficult to rest peacefully.
I recently stayed at Hotel Brenner for a leisure trip, and our experience was generally okay. The location was convenient. The staff were friendly and check-in/check-out/parking was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable and exactly as showed in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast had a descent spread.

ThailandInformed in advance about our flight delayed and checked in around 21.00 on October 2, 2023. The lady at the reception was very unfriendly. She gave away the Comfort double room on the ground floor that we booked and lied that there is no such room. She insisted that all rooms on the ground floor are facing street not the garden. We discovered next morning that there is one and exactly what I asked for. On check out, we happened to meet the manager and brought this subject to her. She is very understanding and apologized for what happened. Anyway, she volunteers to show us the room we want to confirm that there is one and told us that we were lucky not to stay in that room. Early morning on our checkout date, a pipe was broken and flooded the room.
We stayed 4 nights here and use Koblenz as a base to travel around the Rhine and Mosel villages by train. Hotel location well serves our purpose. Located a bit far from Koblenz old town but not a problem to walk. We liked the hotel itself.

AustraliaThe bath towel was a bit small, but not unusual for hotels in Germany.
Large room, good bathroom facilities, and the best part was quiet air-conditioning, well appreciated during this warm autumn. Also, as a ground floor room, having steel shutters at night was appreciated. Breakfast area was very nice, and a good variety at breakfast. Close to rail station and only 10 mins from the main shopping area. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for a better room.

LuxembourgOur room and the rooms to each side of us did clearly said no smoking but one of the rooms had a small balcony outside and the couple who were there were clearly smokers as we could hear them out there (even at 2am in the morning) and the smell of their smoke was filtering into our room even though the windows were closed.
We didn't opt for the breakfast. The room had coffee and tea making facilities which was a bonus. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Location was very good, we were there mainly for the old town sightseeing which was about 10 minute walk from the hotel.

United KingdomNothing really - apart from a lift up to the 3rd floor!
We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Hotel Brenner. We were up on the 3rd floor so had to go up stairs from the lift on the 2nd floor, but the spacious room, with its view and balcony, was worth it. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is well-placed: it has private parking about 100m away, is close to shops and restaurants and an easy walk of 600 - 800m to the river Rhein.

Located near Koblenz old town, it was a great place to be able to find so many different ways to approach the centre. There are many buildings worthy of extra time spent and the walks either up the Rhine or the Mosel are a delight. If shopping and eating are your thing then you will be happy with the choices.Cruising is Ok too.
