Hotel is neat but floors in our room were damaged, carpets in passage towards our room were stained. Our room was not ready for 5, we had to ask them to come prepare the room for 5 as they only prepared for 3. Parking was not ideal, to walk late evenings the distance to Parking is not ideal, especially for elderly. Breakfast was good, not a big variety nor cuppachino! The staff were good, overall helpful, however, limited, every time we got to reception to we had to wait for staff to attend to our needs.

The hotel has slopping roof and we had to walk leaning down all the time in our attic room, it didn’t feel cozy as the hotel has too many entrances and doors and some staff were very dry and little helpful, not all the staff but some, didn’t help much signposting to the shop for bike hire or where to leave luggage or where to find car park. Breakfast was packed with school children and it felt more like a basic cantine. It didn’t have any atmosphere at night so we went out for a meal to lake front.

Location was very central for sightseeing and to leave car at a back car park for free.

I would have liked more keys than one for the appartment as a standard. Parking information could have been more properly shared in advance.

Clean, wide and spacious appartment room. Multilingual staff (spoke Dutch (NL)) and a very good breakfast.

The hotel is built in a U shape and has tables and chairs in the courtyard. In the Summer with the windows kept open every single noise/voice echoes so it can be very loud… bring ear plugs along!

The only problem we encountered was the young woman at the Reception Desk, who was very helpful, gave us the wrong directions about catching the bus down to the ferry. We waited in the wrong place in the broiling sun for over 30 minutes, until a kindly bus driver going in the opposite direction set us straight.

We had a huge suite all to ourselves! 2 big rooms and the best shower (water pressure and temperature) we encountered in Germany. The suite wasn't fancy; a simple dorm-type thing. But lots of space! Breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. Great location right in the center of the Old Town. Meersburg is beautiful. The Old and New Castles very interesting!

I'd stay there again and it was a very good deal for the price but would have rated it even higher if I could get one English speaking channel on TV (CNN signal too weak), mini coffee maker in room, and some mini toiletries in room would help (my luggage was delayed 24 hrs. by airline).

Breakfast was included, a full buffet of choices. Dinner was an optional buffet for 19,50 Euros. There's also a full bar in lobby. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is right in the middle of the historic section of town (walk to restaurants, shops, harbor, etc.).

The car parking is about a 10 minute walk away, and a little hard to find. The room and hallway had a very bad smell. Not sure what it was, but staff seemed shocked when we mentioned it, as if they couldn't smell it...I don't know how that would have been possible.

We loved the location. It was easy to find, and close to the main road, restaurants, a grocery store, and the sights of Meersburg. The breakfast was amazing also! Lots of choices.

We had a lovely stay at the JUFA Hotel Meersburg am Bodensee, we booked a family room with bunkbeds and a room for y in-laws. Both rooms were clean and nice and had good views. The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of the Altstadt and within easy walking distance of everything. Our kids enjoyed the playground and indoor play room. The breakfast was delicious and we ate out outside in the courtyard. The staff were friendly and kind, and we will happily stay here again.

No big negatives. The car parking locations aren't ideal. Actually, for our overnight stay, we could have paid for parking in the car park immediately up the hill from the hotel (2 minutes away), rather than the free ones that involve more walking. Still, the Tobele car park involved a scenic walk either through the residential areas or down the hillside to the shore. Also, there's space for loading & it's not rushed, so it's easily manageable.

The staff were really friendly & that made a big impact on our enjoyment. We got good tips about where to go to do paddleboarding in the next town & the explanation of where to park was clear. It's remarkable to walk up from the lake front to the hotel, because you walk up through the castle itself, which gives a sense of what it would have been like to walk into a living castle in the past. The breakfast was excellent with local produce & the room itself was nice. We were a couple (in a triple room) due to availability, but the space was fine. Bathroom was good. We enjoyed the courtyard in the evening, taking our free room waters there after the bar shut (at 10pm).

The bathroom had a foul smell. Also it was quite noisy in the street at 6 am (truck deliveries etc) with the windows open on a warm summer night.

The beds were comfortable. The location was great. Breakfast was plentiful and good. We had enough space for our family of four. Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking was easy in the garage across the street overnight. We would definitely stay here again!

The price was rather spendy for a simple accommodation, but on par with such a lovely town during a popular time to visit. The common areas in our building were a little dark, but this was not a big deal.

The location is really ideal on the upper edge of the Altstadt. We were surprised by how large and comfortable our room was. The facilities were quite adequate and the breakfast buffet was well appointed and generous. We appreciated the parking voucher.
