The staff was very friendly, the room was clean (6 bed female-only room). Great breakfast, even with some vegan options. Simple but good.

Location is quite outside the city center, but there's a bus running close by. During breakfast it is very noisy.

The dorms are small and thus not so hectic or loud. Shared bathrooms are frequently cleaned. Large breakfast buffet with good coffee.

Really far from the city of Hamburg. Even mass transit takes over half an hour to get to the city. Surprise fees for linens upon check-in. Paper thin walls, I could hear the room next to me, speaking to eac other at 3 in the morning and had my sleep, greatly disrupted.

A filling breakfast was provided each morning.

Breakfast is too early as for me and there 1 soccer at hall with tables. So it not well to work or call there. Location is far away from center and subway. So it's great for walkers or guys with personal transport, but not for quick cheap transfers to center. Good experience for one time (as for me)

It is quiet place and quiet rooms, and good boxes, good internet, nice breakfast service help with all my requests. So it was okay space for me. As guy from Ukraine I was happy about yellow and blue colours at logo and flags everywhere. It was new for me, that it was blue and yellow colours. But guys and another guests are great, no troubles. Very nice people. Shop with food and kebab is in front of the hostel.

There is no policy towards the guests to be quiet at the rooms at night time, the beds are not numbered and it can happen that during your stay someone comes and takes your bed, it happened in our room. Unpleasant people are everywhere unfortunately.

The beds are uncomfortable. There are lots of screaming middle school kids, so it is a noisy place. But, I did not have any problem sleeping.

It is a big facility with a very good breakfast. The price/performance is great! The location is nicely covered by busses even at night. It is safe and clean.

There was no outdoor play area for the kids, but with indoor spaces it wasn't a problem.

You can rely on all the standards at a typical Jugendherberge. Particularly great that it had a kids playroom and some games in the basement.

The style of the hoest was not like traditional ones which provides kitchen, launday room etc allows you to do some self service, the rooms and beds were not clean enough.

The lack of plugs in the bedrooms was really hard to manage -- in fact it was a major pain (I need to be connected). It also wasn’t easy to find plugs in the hallways & lounges. You have to plan carefully if you are going downtown – because it’s not exactly easy to come back during the day (a waste of time!)

The breakfast was amazing, absolutely == big range of food!!! Nice friendly staff. Clean & very safe. Lockers in room. Comfy beds & lights by each bunk. Washrooms were ok – showers were a bit sketchy. Reasonably easy to get downtown, about ½ hour away, more or less. Very-very-very family friendly (in case you’re looking to party) or if you are cycling along the Elbe. I’d def come again for the breakfast! There’s also a small bar for a beer or glass of wine, etc.

one of the showers had no hot water, not working. In addition, there is little availability of chargers in the piece. There are only 4 and we were 6 people. And in my room there was a locker that didn't work, it was bad.
