We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomIt was a double room but we had two single beds put together and they kept pulling apart so most of the time we had to sleep separately. There was no kettle and we could only get hot water from the coffee pod machine which made the tea taste of coffee.
It was very clean and staff friendly. It was also very quiet .

Don’t like people going in when it says no at the door . Respect of my privacy …. And the cleaning staff overlooked something very gros on my bed frame …

PortugalMannheim city have a big problem with mouses and I saw some small mouses at the lobby hotel and this is not good. The hotel is penalised for this situation and, as I understand it, they can't do anything about it because of the law imposed in the city. Small rats are a protected species! The parking is really expensive 1 day 24 Euros.
All staff are very friendly. The room have a lot of space.

GermanyI might have had some bad luck with my room because it didn’t look like the ones in the pictures at all. I am aware that there a differences but they were big this time. And I now from other peoples experience that there are nice rooms at this hotel. The desk and the night stands had holes in the surface that looked like water damages, the bathroom door was kind of broken, there was a plastic bag tight around the smoke detector, the worst thing was the smell from the drains in the bathroom. I could’ve maybe asked for another room but I got there late and stayed only for a night. When I told them about my stay in an email the staff offered to talk to me about what we can do (maybe a discount) and tried to call me (I wasn’t able to answer) so I emailed them back but haven’t heard back yet.
The staff was really nice at all times. The location is great and it’s close to the train station. There are restaurants, bars, shops, right around the corner and a few sights, too. EDIT: The staff contacted me and we talked about solutions for my stay. Which was very nice. Thats why I changed the rating.

SwitzerlandThe "superior room" looks were nice inluding a large renovated bathroom but a lot of savings were made on things like only 'portable plug-in lamps' with no central switch, only seperate hot & cold watertaps, coffee maker & water cooker only on request, 2 build-in wardrobes without doorknobs, to open by pulling on a classic key but only 1 key pressent,... in short many of these small things which make the total "superior room" experience below expectations.
It's a very nice looking classic hotel with many wonderful features and experienced staf. The location is perfect, lovely area close to all you need, which is probably why I may come back.

GermanyBreakfast was a little chaotic - the hotel was very full and the staff were obviously working really hard to keep up, but because of the number of guests dishes were constantly in need of refilling and things like the coffee machines etc. were broken or in need of attention. The breakfast itself was tasty, though!
The room was very comfortable and the staff were fast, welcoming and helpful. The hotel also has lots of nice details that aren't necessary but make the space feel more fun, like a little candy bar and nice waters and drinks for guests in the lobby.

United States of Americathe air conditioning system was not working but, machines brake and are not always able to be repaired on the spot.
I was upset about the air conditioning not working, the situation was unfix-able at that time and they did upgrade my room. The manger reached out to me personally and that was a very nice thing. You don't always see this level of costumer care these days. I was definitely impressed with their compassion for my discomfort and their customer service.
