Used this hotel many times because of its size and location, it's close enough to the city centre without being in the middle of all the commotion, its in a very quiet area with a supermarket opposite for any essentials. The hotel is of a good size not too big where you feel lost with no atmosphere, but of good size with spacious eating areas and bar, a hotel you feel welcome. Rooms are of a good size with carpet, I personally don't like the modern style hotel rooms where there is laminate flooring everywhere it just feels cold and not cosy, there's an open style bathroom with a good shower and complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Rooms have been a bit worn out. Rather expensive not quite justifying the otherwise average standard of amenities.

Good sized room, this was added to by the redesigned bathroom which gave an even roomier feel to it. Great quiet location but still just a few minutes from the river and almost next to St Michel Church.

Just a suggestion: Could clean better behind the toilet door.

The shower was open on 2 sides, one of which faced the door to the hall and there were no doors on the bathroom except for the toilet room. Towels were very thin and bath robe was not in good condition (not sure whether it had been washed recently).

Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was large. The jolly man at the front desk who very patiently provided me with directions to every sight we needed to see on our 2 night stay. King size bed was comfortable. Kettle in the room (badly in need of descaling though). We were able to get to the hotel easily from the train station by #17 bus. Cookies at the front desk.

The shower setup is a bit different, not bad just different.

Great location, can walk to most of the sites within +-20mins. Beds are comfy and the pillows are like clouds. Supermarket and cafe across the street. Many restaurants close by to choose from. The sauna is a nice bonus, robe and slippers provided in the room.

A bit run down, the room could use a facelift. Spring mattress, is expect memory foam for the nightly rate. Spa area was not very exciting, have to ask the front desk to turn on the sauna 25 mins before going.

There is nothing to dislike. We were very happy with this hotel and would happily recommend it.

Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were good and very clean / well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic. The bar in the hotel was friendly and the meal we had in the evening was very good.

Small problem with seal on shower door.

Pleasant and quiet location, yet within easy walking distance to port area and city centre. Easily reached by car with convenient underground parking. Good buffet breakfast with wide choice and very tasty. Staff were very helpful during check-in and out.

Room was very quiet with good aircon and wifi. Location was perfect as it was in a quiet area near restaurants and shops and walking distance to city centre.

Lindner is a well run typical german hotel - chain. Its clean and well working, but have no exceptional charm or boutique feeling to it. Its well located on the fringe of Karolinerviertel 10 minutes from Reeperbahn and not far from Sternschanze-viertel, in a relatively quiet area with few shops. Break is a large buffet with many choices in a relatively good quality, but no gourmet experience. By the way, the long breakfast hours and late checkout in weekends is great if on holiday)

Hotel is situated in a good place, has all amenities and attractions at walking distance, no need for transport to get by in town. Has an underground garage, which is a big bonus in HH. I try to stay in the area on most of my trips to HH, though it's priced quite high.

On check out day at 9 am the cleaning lady came to wake us up even though check out was at 11!!

In room 307 were we stayed the water did not drain well in the bath, TV was missing about 40% of channels from the list and therefore practically no English channels available. Wi-fi signal poor, and a bench for a suitcase is extendable but couldn't stay folded. The room's door was hard to get openned as they are heavy and have a tight salfclosing mechanism...

Location and decoration of the hotel is a positive. Check in and check out is a smooth process. Bottled water and tea/coffee in the room available.
