It is always such a pleasure staying at my favourite hotel in Baden Baden. From arrival until I left everything was simply excellent: supportive, attentive, very friendly staff and service. I always enjoy the truly heavenly delicious breakfast, the amazing SPA and Wellness area. Can't wait to be back in Spring next year!

Reception not particularly friendly, concierge staffer didn’t react and avoided eye contact even greeted with a hello. Parking at the facility is extra. If you stay for multiple days, parking fees can be substantial.

The traffic during the Christmas season is atrocious and the hotel sits on a narrow two way street with only one way in and out. We were stuck in traffic for 40 minutes about 20 feet from the front of entrance of the hotel. We ended up parking on their lane next to the sidewalk and unloading our own bags. The concierge said this happens every year. We really should have been notified upon booking that this is a reoccurring issue and to expect it and how they could accommodate us under the circumstances. The jets in our tub were broken and the heat in our room count be regulated. We were sweating for two days and didn't sleep well due to the heat. Their were several very helpful members in and out of our room as well a technician but thethey were unable to fix the issue so our stay felt a bit busy and transient. The spa was quite over run with bookings and unfortunately could not accommodate one of my massage appointments which I didn't not find out about until I arrived. Room service was lovely but the staff were so over run with orders we usually waited about an hour for food to arrive. We had food sitting in our room overnight that could be collected and many times if we called room service or the front desk the phone would ring and ring without answer. The employee at this hotel are exceptional, so polite and respectful they were doing their absolute best, from the spa staff to room service housekeeping and the front desk. I think they were way overbooked and understaffed and I hope the hotel can find a way to navigate the festive seasons without them having such a taxing experience.

Location was terrific! The suite was gorgeous and very clean. Great spa and amenities. Kind staff. So respectful, friendly and unbelievably hardworking. We had several issues with the room during our stay but the hotel staff went above and beyond to support and compensate us for our inconveniences try and make our stay as comfortable as possible.

It was crazy expensive for one night, especially traveling as a family. We only opted to stay there as it was across the street from an event we were attending and wanted our kids close by.

Parking was a bit problematic and comes at €25 a day. My wife booked some spa activities (massages, peeling etc) and she got a nice print out at the hotel reception. When she went to the spa reception for those activities, there was no reservation and they somehow managed to find a time slot.

Great location just next to Casino and Kurhaus, parking required cueing. Nice room, great breakfast (but the pancakes were out of a package , 5 star?), Nice bar and friendly staff.

Excellent location; grand old building that is well maintained; we had a quiet and spacious junior suite facing away from the street; buffet breakfast has a wide selection of tasty dishes; we enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna, clean and quiet; convenient parking underneath the hotel; staff are friendly and attentive; check-in and checkout was efficient and hassle-free. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Everything is perfect, as usual 👌👌👌

We come to Baden-Baden quite often, as we love the city and the surroundings, and this hotel is our favourite one. We tried others (Aqua Aurelia is also amazing, no complaints neither), but this was the first one we tried and we loved it from the start, so we already stayed here a few times already. We always feel great here, the staff is so professional whilst being welcoming, the rooms are always spotless and comfortable, the bathroom products of awesome quality, and the breakfast buffet is to die for (and it's open until 11h30, which is rare nowadays. The first time we were here it was until 12h00, but since they also serve lunches there, I believe they changed the time schedule). Also, there's a huge parking lot nearby and you're just a few steps away from the casino, the city centre and the beautiful walk by the river. It's a wonderful hotel and it always sparks joy coming back here ❤️

I did not stay long enough!

The location was perfect for a visit to Baden Baden. The staff are outstanding professionals who are personable & very kind. I felt extremely well looked after & perhaps even a bit spoiled. The breakfast service is outstanding. There were lovely little details in the room itself that made things very cosy. In the last 4 years I have traveled extensively in Germany. I would say the Maison Messmer is among the best places to stay. The staff provide a wonderful service and made me & my husband feel so welcome.The rooms are extremely comfortable & the bed has a range of sleeping pillow types. I bring my own pillow when traveling (ok, I’m fussy). I used the pillows provided, this is high praise indeed. The spa is lovely too. Baden Baden is beautiful & the Maison Messmer made the visit so memorable.
