Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely staff with a great location for the station, as we were just passing through it served us well with a nice breakfast. Solid hotel.

Coffee could be better ;-)
Breakfast was OK. The Location was absolutely amazing. The Hotel is next to the train station, subway, etc. Next to the Hotel you can rent a bike as well. Also, you can visit the Außenalster during 5 min.

We have been rebooked to another hotel which was good over all. But in this other hotel their was an issue with the water supply. So we had no running water for half a day at the hotel which was not that good as you can imagine. Still the hotel was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was good.

One worker said that breakfast from 6:30 until 7:30, what is crazy early and don’t make sense to me. Although at check-out we heard that breakfast was actually until 10 am... I’m upset that we paid for the room along with breakfast, but due to incorrect information we did not use this service.
Great location, polite workers, the room was clean.

There is no parking included, but on description is not clear that it is missing. So you have to calculate +35 euro/night on some private parking close by

A few things to mention: — there were spider webs in the light fixture and a corner of the room — there was some mold (and probably fungus as well) in the corners of the bathroom — the first-aid kit was unavailable when needed (as told a staff member) — there was only one key for two guests in the room

No tea / coffee making facillities in the room, not even a coffee vending machine at reception.
It was a nice little room, but very basic, good for a 1 night stop over. Very handy for the station.

The wifi didn’t work despite the website clearly advertising that there was good wifi available, and then when I told the receptionist that the wifi wasn’t working she just nodded, clearly they already knew the wifi didn’t work and it’s unacceptable that the hotel was still advertised as having wifi. I had a work video call I had hoped to do in my room during my stay, however without wifi I obviously couldn’t, and when I asked the receptionist if there was anywhere locally with wifi I could use she sent me to a cafe that didn’t have wifi. Overall it was incredibly disappointing and a massive inconvenience for us.

Wi-fi was pretty hopeless. I had to stand by stairs to get and maintain a connection. Reception staff seemed a bit grumpy most of the time but that might reflect their long hours.
Very good location close to station but at the other end from all the drunks etc. Good buffet breakfast. Good size room.

A fan would be useful in the room (hot weather, no AC in the hotel). + a fridge. There is a strange proposal in the rooms to get "free water", but it is traded against room cleaning... (If you want your room cleaned, no free water...)

No coffee making facilities available.
Location to train station was great. Restaurants close by for dinner. Friendly staff. Breakfast food was good. Coffee tasted terrible.
