We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SingaporeWe had two rooms and for both rooms the aircon/fan wasn’t working so the room was stuffy, we had to open the windows (it was in winter so it cooled the room but can’t imagine it in summer!) but it was on the first/second levels so there was a lot of noise coming from the outside. There is a coffee machine with capsules but no hot water kettle, and no fridge in one of the rooms which I thought were basic hotel facilities.
Front desk staff was helpful and allowed us to switch to a room with a prepared extra bed during check-in.

Belgiumthe breakfast is "expensive" for what it is. the staff at the restautrant is hopeless. the waiter looked bored and did not pay attention to me for long minutes and showed me a list of micro waved dishes i could order. this is just not serious and so unprofessional of a hotel of that type. the reception were unable to tell me where there were other retaurants; i found 3 within 400 metres...

United KingdomFirst room the sink plug was stuck which couldn't be repaired at check in so we were given another room. This room we couldn't get into as card entry didn't work. Receptionist also tried and failed. 3rd room given and the smell of smoke was horrendous plus some rotton smell from the fridge. By 11pm we were in a 4th room which was the best of the lot but still no proper coffee facilities (pods missing and no milk). The slamming doors from other rooms was rather loud. On check out day, housekeeping knocked on the door on 3 occasions, just letting themselves in on the 3rd attempt.
Location for visiting my family was spot on - the man at reception was very helpful in sorting all our issues.

GermanyThe Pillow, the doors shut to noisily, you hear every person leaving in the morning or night. The Airconditioning did not work and we could not leave the window open as the cars were to noisy. Most of all the noise from the doors shutting is really bad as we had to leave the door closed due to the air In the room

GermanyIt was a little difficult to find our room. The numbers were not in the order you would expect. We kept walking down the hall and found our room, but was a little confusing.
Great location. We stayed the night for a concert. Easy and short walk to take public transportion to the venue/SAP Arena and back. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was clean. Upon checkout, realized we had left something in the room. Staff were quick to help and issued us another room key to go back and retrieve our item.

The rooms are quite spacious the internet is very stable. The staff at the front desk is super friendly and they work very efficiently.

CanadaI was quite shocked flipping the channels. There is only 1(!!!) English channel with business news only, and 7(!!!) russian ones with Rosija1 which should be banned in the whole EU territory! I was sick with their propaganda and lies watching this even for 10 seconds!The channels set up list included BBC, CNN but apparently they were blocked?! Who owns this place and where Is the management quietly allowing this?!

Germanythe housekeeping is awful. Came in without knocking, took out towels without replacing, very dusty surfaces, the doors in the rooms have never been cleaned. there should be a much higher standard in Mercure hotels. (the same thing happened to other friends staying there too)
