Thin walls, no sound proof. When the neighbours go to bathroom or take a shower, it feels like in the own room. Not even a proper glass, all plastic.

The hotel is quite lovely, as well as the location. Staff was very friendly, the room was nice and clean. It was quite hot when we stayed and we were happy to see the windows were already open. The breakfast was very nice.

The toilet flush system in my room was not the best. It had no reservoir, only a push button directly connected to the water line. So when flushing, there is only the pressure from the water pipe. In some situations, it may take several tries to successfully flush.

The room was fine, and breakfast was great. Not a lot of choices, but what was there was great. The location is quite far from public transit, There is a bus every half an hour or so, but only during workdays and it does not operate at night. It is possible to walk from the old town, and the walk is quite nice and scenic, but it takes at least 30 minutes.

No close restaurants unless you drive or walk a far distance. The hotel is on top of a hill so walking down isn't so bad, but walking back up is brutal. There is no close bus stop, so you must take a taxi if you aren't driving by your own car. Breakfast was very expensive and we opted out.

Very friendly and easy check in. The hotel is an older building and feels like it even with renovations. However, the room was spacious and clean, and the mattress was very soft and comfy. There is free street parking available, but we did have to park down a couple streets to find a spot available. Walkable distance to the Heidelberg Castle, which was nice so we kept our parking spot on the street. It's a good hotel to stay at for the price.

The place is away from main Heidelberg on top of the hill. Walking down to Heidelberg town was a nice 20 minutes walk. Very cozy place, and friendly hotel staff. Breakfast was nice.

Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet in a nice dining room. Pleasant garden with tables and chairs for use of guests and nice shaded areas. Refreshments available from the small kitchen in the evening. Bus stop right at the hotel — we didn’t have to use our car for the 4 days we were there. Generously sized room with sofa, small desk and chair.

We booked two rooms. One room is ok and the other room has a big furnance like thing in the middle of the room. This is OK, but the room is way too dark, such that we cannot read or do anything except sleeping. We are also very lucky that we had a free parking at the hotel's parking lot.

The hotel is about 30 to 40 minutes walk to the city center. It is not expensive to take Taxi there, we spent 12 euro on the way back for taxi.

A wonderful location near the castle with a nice view of the river. The neighbourhood is upper-class and very quiet, a nice place to walk around. The dining area of the hotel has a romantic atmosphere and the breakfast is satisfying.

We were a big group and the alike rooms weren't really alike. Some business rooms had a rather weak WiFi. The superior rooms were great.

Fantastic location above Heidelberg. Really nice breakfast. A call after forgotten things were found; it was easy to just drive back and to pick it up. It was great to get the permission for parking the car at the nearby museum.

The room was quite dusty and especially the floor and windows were moist (we stayed on the -1 floor). Renovation works seem necessary. No option to get here without a car especially when it gets dark. It's a steep climb. But the taxi is easy and affordable.

The parking facilities is a bit difficult. The rooms are noisy. The was a (locked) door in the room the leads to the next room. That made awkward as you could hear what was happening in the other room. The breakfast was a bit limited.

I did not get a good wifi signal in the room I was staying in. I do not think any of the 'downstairs' room got good wifi. The parking situation was a bit small, but not bad for a german city. If you cannot park by the building there is parking very close by on the same street.

This is a nice traditional hotel that is surprisingly pet friendly in a quiet neighborhood in the outskirts of Heidelberg. It is a few minutes walk to the Castle overlooking Old Town. The hotel has nicely kept grounds with plenty of tables and seating with nice views outside. The accommodations are pretty good, and meet all my expectations for a hotel. The price for two nights stay with pets was not bad at all.
