Because it's a border area, my mobile internet didn't work. There's an option to buy Wi-Fi access at Picobello, but the only choices available are buying Wi-Fi access for a week or a month, which is completely useless if you stay for a few days or just one night like me.

The room was really big and quite clean, with all the essentials such as additional towels, toilet paper and even a hair dryer. You can park your car in front of the main building which is very useful. Very good price.

Doushe was not correctly isolated with a curtain. Be careful of flooding the floor.

Cheap room in the center of the city. Very warm. Good position - next to the bridge to Zgorzelec. Good view of the river. Close to streets with historical buildings. Shop at the Poland side is quite close.

The shower head was attached to the wall but not in a normal manner, so you needed to take it off to shower properly, also the shower curtain in our room was so dark that it was quite dark in the shower which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for someone else.

Suited our needs for one night stay. Beds were comfortable. Location was easier enough to get to, it’s a bumpy ride rolling your suitcase around. There are some lovely food places around

All our credit cards weren't accepted despite being issued in the EU. We had to scramble for cash from an ATM (which wasn't nearby) to pay for the room. Breakfast was limited and the room was crowded

Great location with views over the river. Very close to the old town center. Spacious room, with a big bathroom. Everything is very neat and clean. Free parking space available for your car. Beautiful garden at the back of the hotel.

The toilet should at least have a hand wash liquid. It was not there, and you have to buy it separately.

They don't offer hand soap at all (they tell you in advance they don't), but this could be improved.

I have stayed in Görlitz only one night, after attending a concert (part of Osmodrama at the Stadthalle) and it was too late to go back to Berlin. I have booked last moment (6 pm) and the staff was very responsive and friendly, they even left the key for me in the safe (there's no reception after 8 pm). The location is very convenient with a nice view tawards the river. The establishment is an old building, you can tell by the structure and also smell (mouldy smell on the hallway). However the room was simple, spacious and clean. I would say is fair for the price you pay or what you pay is what you get. For one night was perfect. Thank you!

It was not a hotel, nor a “pension” it was more of a Motel. The reception was only open from 2pm to 8pm, when we arrived the room was FREEZING and the bed was unmade, there were humidity problems and a smell of fungus throughout the building, the heaters were off, it was 2 degrees outside! We tried to take a half hour nap so we could walk around but there was a man shouting in the hallway and we were frozen, we had to go to the reception to discuss the problem and ask for more blankets, the woman was very kind (the only good thing) and offered us another room Since he knew that “that guest was strange” (speaking of the man who was shouting in the hallway), he gave us another key but did not give us more blankets, and the second room was just as cold as the first. We lost almost 2 hours in all this, so we entered the room at 4, and the next day we had to leave at 10, more than €60 for less than 24 hours of stay. In the bathroom there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner, but there was a sign “overnight stays from €16”, let's say a Motel. The second day we went at 9:30 to ask for hot water at the reception to drink mate, breakfast was from 8 to 11, but there was no one at the reception, a man yelled at us angrily over the entrance communicator and said that “your wife was going to open it for us” but she never did. We had to leave the keys in a mailbox and leave. A disaster

The only good thing about the accommodation was the location.

The room I received was different than the picture. Lack of ample light. Small Windows. No smart TV. Bed mattress was super hard, felt metal spring all over my back while lying down, uncomfortable to sleep.

I felt a little bit scammed as on their page they stated that there is a free private parking. I especially booked this accomodation because of the parking. After I booked the room I received a messaged that the parking is 10€/night. After I replied that is not what is on their page they didn't even reply. Btw you can park on the streets for free during the weekends.

There was either dirt or mould on the tiles in the bath and not just a little. No wonder though - the ventilation was weak and couldn’t transport humidity. The hallway was reeking of wet walls as well. To add to it the toilet was leaking so we had piss on the floor. When mentioning this to the staff, we were told no one to repair it was available on weekends and we weren’t offered a (partial) refund.

Good location to explore Görlitz, friendly and helpful staff if nothing goes wrong
