It was too loud to sleep with the window open, but too warm to have them closed as the wall temp control was not activated as it was unseasonably warm.

The staff went above and beyond at every point og service. The location is outstanding, the room was comfortable and well maintained.

Building renovations on going but these did not disturb us at all - very well managed.

Rooms were a good size. - complimentary water and juice in the room during the stay. Children given Easter treats on arrival. Good staff who were friendly.

upon check in they blocked 100 euros extra, at the check out they didn’t provide any cancellation receipt. so the amount is still not on my card and not sure when I receive it. basically very strange story as always the hotels do provide the receipt of payment cancellation

The wifi was unstable which did not allow me to conduct my calls in a smooth manner. The housekeeping did not have a fixed schedule, they knocked the doors at 8am in the morning to fix the room. I find this an unreasonable time. Above all, the supervisor at the reception was extremely rude. She walked in from inside with an angry face without greeting or smiling. She did not have the patience to listen to what I have to say neither the capacity to explain the matter, and spoke in a very rude manner and in unacceptable tone as I was checking out from the hotel. The attitude of the supervisor was insulting and ruined my whole experience, although I was planning to write a great review and to recommend this hotel to others.

The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was great in terms of it being at the heart of the old town square, close to metro station, restaurants, and a 3 minute walk to the shopping streets where all the popular brands and malls sit. The area was quiet lively at night having a variety of restaurants and bars around the corner which enhanced the overall experience. Overall the room was clean and tidy and location was beyond great.

Excellent hospitality! I have travelled all over Europe and I must say I love the boutique feeling of the Platz hotel, I felt like I was home. Thank you! Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center,extremely clean! Excellent staff very welcoming… hotel is within walking distance to everything in the city center, 2 minutes from Marienplatz I would definetely recommend this hotel! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. You must try one of the restaurant around the corner Ayinger am Platzl try Schnitzel the best ! And the caramelized shredded pancake a must !

A hidden gem in the center of Munich: two minute walk from Marienplatz, yet accessible by taxi. Wonderful rooms, well decorated and with super comfortable beds. Rooms have walk-in showers and ours (520) was wheelchair accessible. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Breakfast superb with good choice of produce and available till 11:00 am. I would like to mention the reception staff and in particular: Friederike, Lilli, Alisa, Peter, Adrian and Joel for their professionalism and readiness to assist-with a genuine smile- all of their guests. Planning to return to Munich in late summer and surely Platzl will be my top choice.
