Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyElevator doesn't go to 4th floor (only to 3rd) - if you have heavy luggage it may be a problem. Due to COVID-19 breakfast is not served in the hotel but there is a coffee point there and several places to eat in the neighborhood.
Good place to stay for one night. S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram stations are really close. There are several bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. East Side Gallery is 5mins walking.

IrelandThere was no bar, restaurant or breakfast available. I was told by staff that the bar and breakfast was not available due to Covid 19. This didn't make sense to me, as you need to be tested or vaccinated to stay at the hotel, Plus, all the restaurants in Berlin were open and serving customers, so restrictions would clearly allow hotels to serve breakfast. This was also possible in the other hotel I stayed in Berlin during the same trip. To me this was not explained in a satisfactory way by the hostel staff and was not made clear on the booking app

GermanyDO NOT BOOK if you want to be relaxed! Rooms with broken lights and broken airconditioners.. Disrespectful staff made of students and hippies who are always on a smoke break. If you stand at the reception desk for sometime you would hear several guests come and complain about their rooms. No phone in the rooms to call the reception for anything so you always have to get dressed and physically walk to the front desk to complain after which they say that they will send someone who never really comes to fix anything. Take an extra minute and book some other hotel.

United KingdomI have initially been checked into a room that had not been cleaned. This was sorted by the helpful reception staff. However, cleaning staff tried to enter the room 3 times in the span of one morning, waking me up twice and once without even knocking. I felt the total lack of privacy beside being in a private room.
