Felt like a run down area - didn’t feel very safe for me and my 17 year old daughter. A good half hour+ from city - walking plus tram. Very limited coffee/tea making facilities in the room, no sugar or milk. Very hot room with no way to control temperature (fortunately the windows did open). No bedside lamp on one side. Breakfast not included (would have been an additional EUR 17 pp/per day). Seemed quite expensive for just a room.

Convenient for the Palladium (15 min walk). Comfortable beds. Good shower. Very friendly staff. Free coffee downstairs if you ask.

The property is not in the heart of Cologne although it is not terribly far away. This is not a fault of the property. However, for me it was not an issue. I found that once you learn the system of travel, it is easy to get back and forth using the trains or buses available. Personally, I prefer the trains.

Friendly reception team. I required a band aid and they gladly helped me, even with a spare for later. Check in was smooth, check out was smooth. Special mention to Hatice Gul Tak who is an asset to the company. She even arranged a cup of tea before my departure. I had a nice room with a street view, bathroom was good with good quality shower gel, hand-wash, and other toiletries. It had a large, full length wardrobe mirror. Personally I think a full length mirror is essential for any good hotel. Tea/coffee facilities, mini fridge and a complimentary bottle of water which was very much needed and appreciated on arrival. It’s the small gestures like these that make a difference. My room was clean. I stayed for 4 nights and I did not require the room to be serviced.

The heating system, I have iron deficiency and always get cold and the room temperature was 23 degrees and we were not able to make the heater higher . Also the towels were meant for one person which was a challenge for us cause even after we requested extra towels , they did not bring it for us . And we were placed in a joined room to another couple making us hear everything they say which was also annoying

The room temperature was not ideal, but the staff helped us with our issue. Rooms might need some renovation, but nothing major.

We found the staff of the hotel extremely helpful. We had a small complaint about the room temperature and the night staff helped us as much as they could and eventually the day after, the staff offered an additional solution to our problem.

One small issue was, they took two twin beds and put them together to make a queen/king. Unfortunately if you were to roll towards the center of the bed while sleeping, the two twins would start to separate.

The room was a good size for Europe. There's a spa on the fifth floor that has a sauna and a balcony. The weight room only has cardio equipment.

Initial room allocation had to be changed .... second room but up to std ... 3rd room for 2nd night bearable, but still had faults. Re-fit next year should help in sure. Certain staff went out of their way to help.

Bathroom needed some renovation

Friendly and responsive staff. Good connection by bus with Köln city center. Spacious room with big windows and lots of light, very comfortable and well maintained. Excellent breakfast. Nice popular Brauhaus next door.

The hotel is not in the center of Cologne or Mülheim. It takes some time and effort to reach the city center. It becomes even more complicated during early or late hours, and over the weekend when public transport is not very effective. Unfortunately, no city ticket is provided by the hotel. The room was clean in general, but the sink in the bathroom was partially clogged. The water didn't went through well.

I stayed in a big room with a desk and chairs. The bed was comfortable. A bottle of water, coffee and tea options were available in the room, together with a kettle. The staff was very polite and friendly. They offered me a cup of tea while waiting for the check-in process, and also helped me buy city tickets. The hotel was at 5 minutes walking distance to the location of an event I am attending. So, the location was convenient for my needs.
