Bathroom is badly designed. The sink cabinet is right next to the toilet. Impossible to sit on the toilet properly.

Reception is often empty, renovation works were ongoing so water was stopped for some time only afternoon, one big group from Slovakia came and had party in the lobby very loud until very late, without caring about other guests, kids, sleep, etc. This was not nice. Next day staff took care. May be when renovated the hotel will be nice and good again as before 👍🏻

Poor internet, the couple's bed was made up of 2 single mattresses and they were not on the same level. Didn't bother me much cause we did a very short trip, but can be a annoying for a longer stay.

Large rooms, friendly staff, good location. Although it is not in the city center, there are supermarkets and a few restaurants nearby. 10 min drive from the Zugspize ski lift and 18min by train (we find it very close).

Not much sound insulation and no one on the desk when I arrived.

Good location IF you have a car. Buses are very infrequent (every 2hr) trains from Garmisch are excellent. Clean and new bathrooms.

The front desk was not always manned and you had to find someone to help. Maintenance on the hotel could have been better, ex. the elevator was broken, a part on the shower was broken, so you could not raise the handheld nozzle.

Great location, room was very comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful.

The pillows were extremely flat. The hotel staff were hard to get ahold of. We had to ask for the Grainau guest pass to be able to use the busses for free or it wouldn’t have been given to us. Very hard to stay here without a car as the busses only come every 2 hours and are sometimes too full to take any more passengers. Bathrooms don’t have locks on them.

Great space with a nice balcony and view. It was also very nice to have the room cleaned during our stay.

The balcony to our room neighbour was not separated wich made us uncomfortable to leave the balcony door open over night, even tho we would've wanted to.

The fact we had a balcony and a sort of "living room" was a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean. The reception and kitchen staff were friendly. The breakfast options and taste were good.

The pillows were not comfortable, they seemed to poke at you. The windows were creaky and the handles for some were broken. The floor was creaking a lot and felt as if it will break.

The mountain view

There is a railway nearby which from time to time is getting noisy. The backyard was totally a mess.

Location is wonderful. Small river around it, I could stay and hear the sound of it and watching mountains the whole day. Looking forward to come again.

Outdated and uncared for aesthetic, reception staff couldn't care less. Outdoor balcony was in tatters and garden outside was also ratty and uncared for. TV for ants, no provided hot water facilities bar charged-for machine dispensed drinks. Lift was unoperational on day of check in, however this appeared to be resolved before leaving.

Stunning views, big room, decent shower. You get a pass for the bus/train and single entry to the local pool which is actually quite nice.

The toilet smelled of sewage - we left the bathroom fan running all night to keep the smell down. The modern shower had no place to put soap other than the floor

decent hotel. good for a night. some spots look very old, but our room was clean and beds were comfortable. bathroom was newly renovated. clean room. staff was helpful but sometimes not available. the only bad thing was that the reception area closes off at 9pm till morning. so you can’t really contact anyone if you need anything in the room. didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on that. location is great, only 10 minutes walk to the train station. overall a comfortable accommodation.

Train rails are very close and it is going very often. Last train 22:00h. In hot summer days in rooms become very hot - it is needed A/C which is not there.
