Only thing that TV screen was set on the wall where bed head is. Not possible to see TV when lying in the bed

Room had not very good noise isolation, however, it didn't bother us so much and I was wondering seeing TV screen positioned on the head of the bed wall. Practically, it was not possible to watch TV. It only possible to use as a radio...and it worked :)

It was one of the best places we had been for the price paid. Personnel was extremely helpful and careing. Food was typical German type in non-season time: small choices, but very tasty, enough calories and huge portions. In the hotel reastaurant area we liked games available and also entartainment at evenings - music, dancing, open and fiendly atmosphere. You may say, not very modern place, but perfectly fit for aged guests who are not in hurry and want to be treated as in the family. Highly recommended. Many thanks!

Nothing.

We were located in a nearby residence, overlooking the Rhine. The view from our large room was amazing. We were only a few meters from hotel Krone ,so no effort to take our evening meal in their very good restaurant. Parking directly outside our room. There's nothing to do at the village, but a great location for exploring the villages on the Rhine. I intend staying again. Anyone with disabilities, should state that when booking ,as the room we had was 2 flights of stairs up to our room. For us it just improved the view, but not ideal for everyone.

Everything is fine except that accommodation place is an another hotel which is about 250 meters away from the address indicates on the confirmation. The actual accommodation hotel is on the same street of the original booked hotel but there is no board sign which can be seen on street. The board is hanging above the main entrance door which can only be seen when you have walked through the gate and entered the garden. This caused extra difficulties even the hotel manager gave me a map and show me the way to find the hotel. I think the problem can be easily avoided if there is a clear indication that the accommodation hotel a different hotel and indicates the address. So guest can do some preparation before arrivals.

The trains! They passed all night long and they were really loud.

Clean and comfortable. the staff was friendly but overwhelmed. There were too many guests for just one person.

The coffee machine for the breakfast could be better

The hotel is old with older furniture but very clean and neat. The bathroom is big and new. The location is directly at the Rhine river with amazing view. We had the room on back side and it was quite. Staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but limited. The hotel has dinner buffet at affordable price and it looked good. Many guests also outside from hotel eat there. There is also small a la carte menu and the meals taste good

The 2 bedroom apartment with a living that we booked was actually a living/bedroom with 3 beds and one bedroom with double bed. It was not a problem for us but maybe someone who wants more privacy should check that first. All the important things were clean (beds, towels, bathroom) but the corners were a little bit dusty

I did wish there was a kettle in the room, would make getting hot water easier.

The staff was amazing friendly, caring, funny just great. The place is great value for the money, it was clean, comfortable and just a wonderful stay. The breakfast was great and dinner was awesome. All in all if you're looking for a quick getaway this is the place to stay. The location has terrific access to the train station which made getting around great they also give U a Gast ticket that allows you to travel with train or buses as long as it's ran by VRM. As a student traveler with no car this was a life saver which opens up money for other things.the view of the Rhine is relaxing and having breakfast by the window just takes the cake. I would highly recommend this place.

We always love it here. Cosy, family run hotel right on the banks of the Rhein. The rooms are traditionally rustic and airy with very comfy beds. The food is also very traditional Rheinland cuisine - hearty and delicious. Marena always welcomes us like family and we were so grateful for her help this visit.

The owner organized a bingo night and asked us to join. Was a lovely evening, with prizes too. The food was good too. Despite the furniture is a bit dated, it is clean and cosy and I don't have a problem with that. I definetely recommend the hotel.

This is absolutely our Happy Place. We love staying in this marvellous, traditional, family-run hotel located directly on the Rhein. The family, Marena and her colleagues go out of the way to ensure the comfort of their guests, always ready with information and help and always friendly and super-welcoming. Our room was simply brilliant - large and with a balcony overlooking the wine-growing hillside. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the restaurant serves excellent, home style German cuisine - like Oma used to make! We were so thrilled when the lovely chef made us a particular dish off menu that we’d enjoyed there past years - so grateful! This is like a home from home. No problem with parking outside the hotel and all the loveliness of the Romantische Straße is on your doorstep. We can’t wait to go back...
