Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were in Binz in the mid of October. Although we had a very nice room with a balcony and sea views, there were few occasions on which we could use the balcony, as it was not covered and did not provide any shelter when it was raining. The parking lot in front of the hotel was small and fully booked, and we were offered to leave our car at an alternative relatively remote parking lot (a few hundred meters away).
We really liked the beachfront location of the hotel and the perfect sea view from the window of our room. The hotel was also within a walking distance from the center of Binz, the pier and multiple bars and restaurants along the promenade. Our room was really cozy, with a balcony with front sea view. The staff at the reception and at the hotel restaurant was very polite and attentive. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many different choices of food and drinks.

Some rooms have a bit worse views wtc. I guess, we stayed in one of those, so recommend to book one with ocean view.
Really really nice breakfast, I have allergies as well and the staff was supernice and accomodated to my allergies. A lot of different foods, very fresh. Spa was lovely with a lot of different saunas. Staff was super lovely, and the location was good as well, just in front of the beach. Worth the money.

The only thing - the hotel does not provide any beach loungers for the guests on the beach, from my experience this is the first time when you have to pay for it dispite of the hotel is located in the first coastline.
Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The sea was cold in September, but the hotel has an amazing choice of different saunas and there is a good swimming poll. We will defenetely stay here next time! ⭐

Breakfast Buffet area is too small / badly designed for the numbers using it. Mattresses in our bedroom were too soft, not supportive.

We had to apparently reserve the parking beforehand, and this was not mentioned. We had to pay extra for the parking, which was again not mentioned. I am not sure if they do reserve the chairs in the beach for us.
The room was very nice, great views, and the staff were very friendly and nice. The breakfast was great.

Our room was a little bit too small for 4 of us, furniture is quite old, but the bathroom was nice. Quite difficult to get through people at the restaurant, not enough place for all the guests.
Swimming pool was cool, there were only few people there, it was clean and warm. You can order a cold glass of beer, which is nice.

The bedroom was extremely warm all the time and humid, the towels were not able to dry from one day to another. Also they didn’t change the towels in 4 nights and they only cleaned once. The bed mattress and pillows were too old and deformed.
The location (across the beach and walking distance to everything), the breakfast was really good, the pool and spa area were nice too.

Some beds were hard 🫣
The location is great, and the breakfast as well as dinner buffet are pretty good. We enjoyed our stay and wishing to stay longer In the future.. 2days is not enough.. A week will do!!

Our bathroom smelt like urine. Everything looked a bit more outdated in real life than in the pictures, but was in good condition. Parking situation is not great - you have to reserve a spot in advance which we did not know so we ended up having to pay 20 euros for a day of parking down the street. Parking was 11 euros per day at the hotel.
The buffet breakfast was good, but nothing incredibly special. The staff was very nice. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the building so there's an amazing view over the ocean. Great location, right on the water and main walking promenade. Still very peaceful because the town is quiet in general. Everything is walkable within Binz. The sauna area is very nice and spacious, many different large rooms and showers. The pool is pretty shallow but also nice.

it’s not the most modern hotel in the city, the decoration and structure is old fashioned but everything works

Well there is so many: No english menu No Czech tv or any interesting ones in English … scary they still do have Russian ones .. as Prague citizen all 4stars hotels in Czech Republic have a German channels & german menu in restaurants

Having to pay 13 euros a day for parking, would think that was included in the price.
We came in late, so we asked for dinner to be delivered to the room. The food was not warm. Also the room was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. So, all in all, a bad start. BUT, the next day the desk manager gave us a junior suite to make us happy ( Thank you so much Frau Spengler ), AND the food in the restaurant turned out to be really excellent, both breakfast and dinner ! Room was fantastic, beds very good, and the staff lovely. Recommend this hotel.
