Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was a little bit cold because of the thin blanket, but overall the room was very comfortable.
We really loved the spa area and such a pretty view outside. The staff was really friendly and very helpful.

The fitness area was disappointing, particularly in comparison to the rest of the wellness area. We were also surprised about the "energy surcharge" that was added on top of the booking price. It was waived by the front desk staff when we complained, but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. If you need to raise room rates, raise them, and don't hide extra charges.
The facilities were quite good, and my wife was very impressed with the sauna and wellness area. The were courteous and helpful, and made efforts to accommodate our requests. Breakfast was very good, and we appreciated the variety, and the attention of the servers to keeping things restocked, even in busy periods.

The hotel charged on top of the booking fee extra €2 per person tourist tax, €5 per person energy supplement and €5 extra a day for breakfast even though we booked breakfast with the room! So do not be surprised when your bill is hire than I had planned! Outrageous! The staff also do not everyday refresh toiletries

No lifts to our room, lots of stairs to negotiate, however the reception staff did get us a porter.
Fantastic location for the Park, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast very good and dinner fantastic.

The desk filled too much space for the room size - if one sits at desk, the other has to climb over the bed to get to the other side. Perhaps a smaller, narrower, or possibly corner desk/ better use of furnishings in relationship to room size?
Very helpful and professional personnel. Everything was in order, despite the many customers. The restaurant food was delicious, the cook has good understanding of nuanced tastes (though should go easier on the salt). Clean, comfortable room and clean hotel generally. Close to Wilhelmshöhe and grounds.

Great staff members! We forgot our mobile phone in the room and we did not notice until we arrived home, we called front office, they told us they already found it and try to send it to us. We got it after one day from DHL, and well packed. Many thanks to helping us. The locations, facilities, restaurant and biergarten are all great, it was very comfortable to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel very well looked after, comfortable and clean. Same for the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. And the Spa was great with lots of places to sit, lie and relax. The food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent. And the nearby park and walks were excellent, too. All in all a great experience and I'd always come back.

Although the room was okay, it was lower grade w.r.t. the one we had booked (no balcony, etc.). They said it was their mistake, and apologised, but made no "wxcuse discount" of any kind, like parking.
Position was okay, and room was - all in all - okay.

The staff was not too friendly and they had a mix-up with our SPA booking, the in-room interactive system does not work as it should and no one replied to our request for booking a treatment, so we went there to book in person and suddenly we had a double booking. Also the reception was a little bit overwhelmed with our invoice requests at the end.
We stayed twice during a week in the hotel the first time was perfect but the room during our second stay was without a balcony and was on the second floor very hard to reach for disabled people.

The breakfast buffet was good except for one thing I consider standard. There were no juices. Orange juice, fresh admittedly, was available for 4.80 Euro per 200 ml.
The location is really excellent. I will come back for some walking.
