Even on the road side, it's still very quiet. We could check in early.

Room was clean but inside of the shower it was full of moll. This is easy to clean with specific products so it is really a lack of cleaning. The mold is very unhealthy and should be treated as priority

Just a suggestion - Small Carpet should have been there in the bathroom to wipe foot after shower. And small kettle provision to warm drinking water would have been helpful.

There was a mix up in that we reserved a room with a kitchen but were given one without. they kindly made up for it by giving us a fantastic breakfast! Thank you!

Facilities were adequate but perhaps a little more basic than we expected. We were staying in a separate house (a short distance away) which was unmanned.

Upon arrival check-in was not smooth. We went to Haus 1 to check in - told to go to Haus 2. Went there and were buzzed in - reception closed. Waited a while and no-one showed up. Buzzed again and were told our key was on a bench down the corridor. Not very welcoming.

Our room was very large. Comfy beds and pillows. Good size bathroom with hot water. Parking was right outside the hotel for free.

Was suppose to be soundproof windows and there was a lot of street noise from cars, the beds had very thin mattresses sleeping wasn’t comfortable, it was advertised as full cable TV but there was only one station, and no breakfast or light morning meal.

No people at the reception ever, the key was just left in the counter for us to take it and for the checkout was the same, we had an issue with the door to enter the main building at night and it was raining so I had to knock on a kind lady’s room that let us in luckily. Keep that in mind when booking.

It was as if Booking was trying to warn me, when my booking for this hotel initially failed. Little did I know... After phone contact before arrival related to the failed reservation I was still positive about the facility. Little did I know that I was talked into a cheaper room which did not have the facilities of the apartment I had paid for. Without the expected kitchen (and honestly, an apartment without kitchen is no apartment to me) we were not able to prepare the breakfast for which we had brought in the ingredients. Since we were tired from the trip and there was no human person at the reception upon arrival, we decided to just pay the extra money and use the breakfast buffet in the morning (NB: price EUR 10 and not EUR 7). When we came down in the morning we did find a human person at the reception, but she could tell us that there was no option to have breakfast as we should have booked it in advance. She could direct us to an open bakery shop elsewhere in the city, but even filling our thermos flasks with hot water was too much asked... Everywhere in the hotel you find signs about fines you get for smoking, cost when locking yourself out, cost for a child bed, lack of liability etc. but nowhere anything was mentioned about booking your breakfast; not in booking.com, not in the hotel entrance, not in the rooms. Let alone HOW you should book your breakfast. Only the window for having your (theoretical) breakfast is mentioned. Sure, if you're a control-freak, checking every little detail of the trip yourself, prefer to avoid human contact, enjoy unexpected events and historical buildings, don't care about the quality of the bed or bathroom then you could consider this as a cheap option to spend the night. But honestly, I don't think you are that person. Don't go there...
