It is very clean, spacious, with all the essential equipment in the kitchen, including a dish washer, free coffee and herbal tea. They even have a washing machine in the spacious bathroom! I am a solo traveler, but the apartment can easily and comfortably fit 2-3 people. The apartment is conveniently located. I could easily walk to major sites in the city. When I arrived in Leipzig, I went to another Studio 44 in a different location. When I called via WhatsApp, immediately there was a gentleman picked up my call. He told me he was the assistant and he kindly provided me with the direction to Studio 44 Paul. I couldn’t be happier with the lodging and highly recommend it to other fellow travelers

The key collection cafe was some distance from the appartment which was not easy with luggage.

Relatively close to city centre. Nice apartment with everything you could need, including a washing machine/dryer, which was unexpected.

It was a little dusty but nothing major.

Location is perfect - walking distance to city centre such as near by parks. Love the old building and beautiful art work on the ceiling. The apartment had everything on basic requirements provided as described. Very comfortable and relaxing.

We arrived in Leipzig earlier in the day and due to the host not having facilities for us to leave our luggage before the official check-in time we left it at the station. Later we returned to the station to pick it up, had to go to a cafe to pick up the keys and then on to the studio. This was quite a walk (especially with luggage)...

The studio itself was perfect. It was spacious and in a good, quiet location very near a bakery (for fresh bread in the morning) and a supermarket.

The bathroom light and fan turn on and off automatically, meaning you can’t turn it off yourself and the fan is quite loud - not great in the night. Bathroom door just a sliding glass door. Originally booked the “Gustav” apartment, but our booking was changed to the List” one, due to an accident. That obviously couldn’t be helped, however do want to point out that the “List” apartment is located very close to hospital grounds, and there can be vehicles (including helicopters) arriving, so not the cosiest location.

Very comfy bed. Good size room and balcony, comfortable for a couple for a weekend. Shower has consistent hot water. Close to transport stops and the botanical garden.

Something that frustrated me a lot in my short stay was the absence of a switch for the bathroom light. Instead the lights turn on with a movement sensor, and it takes a few minutes for the lights to turn off automatically again. What's worse is that this movement sensor will also trigger a noisy fan in the shower, and it takes 10 minutes for it to turn off again. This means if you take a short pee in the middle of the night, you will have hear this noisy shower fan for at least 10 minutes. The bathroom has no door that would reduce the noise, but instead it has a sliding glass door. On the smaller side, the main pillows on the bed are way too large. I can't imagine someone to sleep comfortable on these pillows. But smaller pillows are available as well.

The keys could be picked up in a café close to the apartment. The apartment itself was easy to find. It was quite large and very clean. All necessities (towel, hair dryer, small fridge, water heater for tea, etc.) were available. A television and a fan were available as well.
