Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Individual room extremely small bed. Bad odor in the rooms. No a/c and if you sleep with the windows open you will hear the drogadicts and mindsik persons screaming and making noise on the streets
Perfect location near the main train station. Breakfast included was ok.

The breakfast area was busy. We had to go away, wait, and go back three times when we finally were able to sit down.
The staff members are kind both at breakfast and at the reception.

Would expect more sockets, especially next to a bed.
The room is even a bit bigger compared to what can be expected from a typical German budget hotel. The breakfast is basic but good. Block where the hotel is located is very quiet, rail station/tram stop are 2 min of walk away. Front desk is open 24/7 and very helpful.

The area around is not the best one in Frankfurt and one should not expect a family friendly area rould Frankfurt main station
Rooms were clean and had enough space to spend one or two nights close to the cental station. The front desk service was very friendly and all time you would fine someone there

The area around the hotel is a bit problematic

Location is very handy because of the central train station, but night time surrenders are a bit scary, lot of homeless on the street.i

The walls are thin, and you could hear the neighbors coming or leaving. The shower could have been a little bit cleaner and the breakfast a little bit more diverse
The hotel is 5 min walking distance from the train station. The breakfast was included. The personal by check-in was nice and friendly.

No stair access, you had to use the lift for everything Sockets for electricity weren't next to the bed

My room was near the lift and the walls were not that thick so I can hear when somebody is coming and talking loud. But it wasn't much of a bother since there were only a few people about to ride the lift that came and went.
The room was nice and clean, and the price was affordable. The front desk guy was friendly and helpful. What I like most is the location because it's just 2 blocks away from the train station.

You will need to pay for the parking, I didn’t find that clear at the point of booking and parking cost an extra €16 for an over night stay

Little bit dated, but for the price can't complain!
Great hotel for a few nights in Frankfurt! Breakfast was nice and room was very clean and comfortable. Public transport nearby. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful! Paid parking was good and secure

This strength taxes for tourists drives me crazy. Why it is not included in the total price? This is not common to see in other countries, in Asia (Japan). I was forced to pay taxes at night but received neither change nor a bill.
