One waiter tried to sit my wife and I at a table for 4 when there were numerous tables for 2 already set up. He established we were English then gave us German menus. He took our drinks before we had finished and I had to ask him to return them.

Old facilities, toilet did not stop flushing, very hot in the room with a portable air conditioning unit that was very noisy.

The hotel has 3 restaurants : Christian Bau 3 stars, Bachhus and Die Scheune. Staying 2 evenings, we decided to visit on Friday Bacchus and on Saturday Die Scheune. We were so surprised (and disappointed) to see that the menu of Die Scheune is simply a shorter copy of the menu of Bacchus with exactly the same dishes offered. Menu of Die Scheune is one page and Bacchus has larger choice. The variety of choice is not the source of our disappointment (I rather see a short menu with fresh ingredients than a large menu with frozen food!) but the dishes offered were really the same as what we had in Bacchus. I made the remark to the manager at my departure but he didnt seem to see that as a deep concern....When I see 3 restaurants in one hotel, I expect 3 different styles of food/cuisine/price level for sure...and I travel a lot with many hotel experiences.

Very nice indoor swimming pool with outside area to relax. Very quiet location with literally zero noise. Friendly reception and overall nice staff. The hotel invited us and others as new comers for some free drinks in Caesar's bar. Well appreciated. Nice breakfast choice with sekt for those who want. No small families with small children which was nice,...anyway this is not the place to take small kids! Within 5 min car you are on the other side of the Mosel in Luxemburg and you have many vineyards to visit around. 40min to Trier and 20 min to Luxemburg city. 2 spaces to load your electric car (probably need more of them in near future)!

If you're coming from Remich definitely get a taxi as the walk isn't much fun with a suitcase.

Lovely place, staff very friendly and their English was all excellent which is so good because my German needs a lot of work. I really enjoyed the pool area. I have never felt so relaxed on holiday before. I will definitely come again.

Unfortunately the air conditioning machine in the junior suite was very noisy and sleep was difficult, also we didn’t realise we had to request a balcony on booking so only had a small window in a big suite

I accidentally left my iPhone charging cable in the room we stayed in (Kaiser Suite, which is the most expensive room in the hotel). When I realised this on my way home I called reception straight away and explained this. They confirmed they had found it and told me they could mail it to my house (We live 2 hours away) BUT I would have to pay for postage and stamping in the amount of €6. I am shocked & extremely dissapointed that a 5 Star Hotel where I have stayed 5 times in the space of 3 years and probably spent close to €2.000 in this time feels the need to charge me as a guest the postage costs for this and I will need to think long & hard again before visiting this location again.

Fantastic as always, we have visited this location and stayed here 5 times in the last 3 years. People are friendly, the place is clean and we love the restaurant for both evening meals AND breakfast.

The view from the room was at the parking, so nothing nice or romantic Water served both in the bar and in the restaurant was Italian which made it so much more expensive opposed to a local water. With concern for the environment and i would prefer to see more local products especially water. At the wellness area where saunas were bathing-suit was not required, which i find so unhygienic.

Staff was helpful and service oriented, Rooms are spacious and confortable. Food at breakfast was very good, as well as the restaurant. i tried a lovely local white wine and a sparkling wine. I encourage the promotion The wellness area was nice and clean.

Everything was great

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff, who are so welcoming and professional. Nice Christmas atmosphere with decorations around the hotel. Comfortable bedroom. Great breakfast. The wellness area is fantastic. Quite honestly a perfect destination for what we had in mind for a relaxing stay.
