Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

everything was fine :)
Great location, close to the highway / Autobahn and close to the airport. Free parking! Very clean room and modern bathroom. The furniture is a bit dated in the style, but seems new though, without scratches and bumps. The room was very clean! we even checked the top of the picture frames etc and there was no dust.

The parking place in the evening gets crowded.
It is a prefect hotel to visit hamburg. I will surely book again.

Great value for money. The hotel is in the northern part of Hamburg, but one can quickly get to the city center using public transport. There is everything you need for a short business stay. A hearty breakfast. One can check in and out online which saves you time.

Check in is until 22:00 and after that they leave it to the restaurant that is open until midnight. So I highly recommend being there on time. Getting there proved to be a challenge since the bus takes 40 minutes and for some reason they left us at the last station so that we can get on the next one to continue for another 3 stops. The area is like a suburb and the rooms are actually inside multiple small buildings which they converted. No elevators so you need to carry them up to 3 floors.
The rooms are well decorated, had all the equipment you need even a safe. It was clean and tidy. Lots of treats in the room (gums, coffee, water etc.) Even though we didn't use they also have a nice restaurant nearby.

Small (very) room, poor internet connection constantly interrupted, staff are very cold and distant. Cleaning personal makes noise early in the morning.

Room was small and dated, in a seperate building but not far, just other end of carpark. Small bathroom. Old beds. Still functional, clean and comfortable.
Good location, just off road, quiet yet only 10 minutes from airport. Residental area, felt safe, included parking. Room had everything needed. Good restaurate for dinner, breakfast, bar. Breakfast not included, but afordable and free for children. Dinner very good and also afordable. Friendly staff, helpful and spoke English if needed. Good value.

The only issue really was the shower. It was a bit hard to exit and we felt a slightly bigger enclosure would have been more useful than having quite a large hand basin. The room as a whole was a little small but ok.
Lovely staff, attractive hotel, free parking, good restaurant and bar, good value. Nice wine at an excellent price. Food was traditional and very tasty. Being able to open the windows but they still felt secure. Coffee machine

If I was pushed, two buildings but I'd be really picky

We went on summer and it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep during the nights because it was very hot and the rooms don’t have air conditioning

There is no kettle in the room. but there is a coffee maker, but it is not a kettle
places are not many and not few, there is a restaurant in the hotel that has soup, there is a choice, but basically everything was not tasty and very salty. although the breakfast was good. There is a car park which is very convenient. The guy at the reception was friendly

Breakfast is at extra charge. However I would have never been able to use it anyway, since I had a very early start for the day.
The hotel is located close enough to the highway for easy access, and far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The little restaurant is very cosy, typically german and serves good food. The room was clean and nice and had a coffee machine.

Bathroom should be improved with: 1) Sleepery surface of the floor - wet shower space - is too dangerous. MUST be modified. 2) Lack of a safety handle at the same space. It is a highly recommended safety device.

Entrance, hallway etc was pitch black when I arrived at 9:15 pm. Elevators did not work. No minibar!

kitchen lacked some basics (toaster).
good location coming off the highway and easy parking. good location to navigate into town and lovely check in staff who were patient with our English.
